Three of Hunter Biden’s defense attorneys moved to withdraw from his ongoing case Friday after his two tax misdemeanors were dismissed without prejudice by a Delaware judge at the request of Department of Justice (DOJ) prosecutors.
Latham & Watkins LLP attorneys Brian C. McManus, Timothy H. McCarten and Matthew S. Salerno filed a motion to withdraw as counsel the day after Delaware U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika granted the DOJ’s request to dismiss the tax charges in Delaware. This allowed for the possibility of charging Biden in Washington, D.C. or the Central District of California.
“Brian C. McManus, counsel for the Defendant, Robert Hunter Biden, and respectfully requests this Honorable Court to withdraw all appearances for the law firm of Latham & Watkins LLP as counsel for the Defendant in the above-captioned matter,” the motion reads.
“Mr. Biden has been advised of, and consents to, our withdrawal. He also agrees this withdrawal will cause no material adverse effect or prejudice to him and remains completely satisfied with Messrs. Lowell’s and Jones’s continued representation of him,” the document continues.

I get the joke here and it’s very funny. I also think Hunter is a scumbag and hope he gets justice, however I agree with this billboard 100% What matters is what the Government can prove. I believe our whole criminal justice system is way too skewed towards the prosecution. It doesn’t matter whether you did it or not, its can the damn Government prove it.
It can’t be that they suddenly discovered that Hunter’s a sleaze, a dirt bag and a corrupt politician’s bag man. If they didn’t know that already, they weren’t worth their retainers.
That's never been a problem - for the most part. The problem arises when it is obvious the damn Government doesn't WANT to prove it.

Timothy MC Darren is qualified for Virginia and DC.

None of the three mention have Delaware qualification. That’s not the reason they left the case.

A lot of other senators and reps would also have had short careers as well. Both sides of the aisle of course.
They wouldn’t need to prosecute them all either. Simply give them a choice. Fight the prosecution in court, as would be their right, or resign and never seek office again.
Far fewer would cross the line in the first place.
