Some people plead guilty and reserve the right to appeal. He probably didn’t have the resources to fight and did what he did with consideration of his family or being able to move on after this case. Or, worse, he thought the system was fair and accepted responsibility for what he did not realizing he wasn’t playing a game with rules he’d recognize.
Maybe his lawyer thought different.
How did I know that would be your exact response?
And of course our “friends” on the left never do any damage anywhere else when they protest either, no havoc and mayhem for months on end, no chaz/chop zones, no riots, none of that.
