If really challenged, it'll be from the 1940s on - because that's the only time period that has data even somewhat comparable to the present. Daily I’m hearing about it in the news broadcasts on the radio. Have you noticed this? Today the woman who read the news had to mention in serious wording how people are “roasting” in Illinois and Ohio. They are seeing the 90’s. OH NO !!!

Hey we are officially in the middle of summer! Some summers around here we go over 100 degrees. If we do this year be prepared to hear the fear mongering.

This shows an anomaly of about 1 degree Celsius is some parts, normal in others.

Where did they measure these temps? Stagnant tide pools in the sun? In the context of effects on Hurricanes, seems to me you would have to get a temp from deep water, not 4 inches from the beach at the very surface of the water
