"The problem here in the United States is partly people with leprosy coming here from other places," Marty said.

Yeah, partly.

On the bright side, there has been a large dropoff in finger- and toe-related disorders.

Import the diseased and criminal elements from third world countries, those countries basically dumping the worst of the lot on our border and the CDC pretends it is somehow a problem with the US..

This administration is an enemy to humanity.

WARNING— there are LEPERS at Disney World!!! Big surprise. The hotels in Central Florida have special rooms for reservation by Indians, Pakis, Afghanis... why? Because they cannot, using any known cleaning agents safe on upholstry, beds, curtains and carpeting which will remove the very evident odor of... curry.

Not kidding. But now the CDC puts out this garbage database with no explanation of how leprosy could get past....IMMIGRATION. It is a turd world disease long understood for prevention. Father Damien is turning over in his grave.

all by design. This is what happens to a nation where borders are non existent.

We know the uniparty members who are responsible for bringing these disease ridden free loaders to our neighborhoods!

The Democrats are definitely THE PARTY OF DEATH! They won’t be happy until all Americans are rotting on the ground.

No uncommon for blacks to eat armadillo and coon. I sold many back in the day to people across the tracks, all in cracker country. Same for gopher, but that’s illegal now.

I’ve been saying for 20 years - if you want to understand America’s future, look at Brazil, Bolivia and Guatemala

We have something of a joke at my house. Well, we joke ABOUT it.
So we come home from a restaurant, and my wife immediately reminds me to put my pants in the dirty clothes hamper and to put on a clean pair. “You sat where other people have previously sat.”
I call it the burn-the-pants procedure. It is especially noticeable after I travel on an airplane.
If lepers are coming to Orlando, one would think that people become lepers in Orlando.
And since this is FR, would it be okay to speculate? Did the clot-shot make people more susceptible to Hansen’s disease (leprosy)?

One suspects that the disease just might be imported from third world countries, thanks to Mister Biden's open border.

That said, it's treatable with antibiotics.

Per the CDC, around 34% locally acquired.

From whom, hmmm?

“...Given those reports, there is some support for the theory that international migration of persons with leprosy is a potential source of autochthonous transmission...”

Quelle suprise.

Hmm, lets see...malaria is rampant in FL, the waters are boiling in FL, the state isn’t safe for people of color, and now it’s overrun with leprosy. One might begin to wonder if this current admin doesn’t like FL very much, ya think?

Armadillos have long been tested and researched for leprosy in Florida.
This is nothing new….
Louisiana as well
Albeit I certainly believe the disease can be brought in by illegals.

Infectious Disease ping – Leprosy in the Homeland, especially found in Central Florida, according to recent reports

(From the article):" Leprosy — also known as Hansen's disease — is becoming endemic in the southeastern United States,
rising evidence from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows."

"A recently published research letter from the CDC says Central Florida accounted for 81% of cases reported in Florida
and almost one-fifth of cases reported across the U.S. According to the National Hansen's Disease Program, 159 new cases were reported in the U.S. in 2020."

--- "Here's what to know."

So says this version of the "news." All aimed at Florida, one observes. But...

"According to the National Hansen's Disease Program, 159 new cases were reported in the U.S. in 2020." "In the United States, about 150 people get infected annually, according to the CDC."

“Today, about 208,000 people worldwide are infected with leprosy, according to the World Health Organization, most of them in Africa and Asia. About 100 people are diagnosed with leprosy in the U.S. every year, mostly in the South, California, Hawaii, and some U.S. territories.”

Source: https://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-and-treatments/leprosy-symptoms-treatments-history

208K worldwide in a population of 8 billion. 0.0026 percent of the worldwide population.

So the CDC “targets” Florida in their “news” statement. Hmm.

But, more....

72 percent (129) of new cases were reported by Arkansas, California, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, New York and Texas The largest proportion of cases (43) that identified an ethnic association declared "themselves to be Asian or South Pacific Islander."

"In the last 30 years (1985-2015), 6,076 new cases have been reported. The number of cases reported per year peaked at 456 in 1983. "

So BE AFRAID. And of course BE ESPECIALLY AFRAID IN FLORIDA. Where Trump has a home and De Santis is governor.

Great I live in central Florida. Saw a couple armadillos passing through the other day. Kept the family and dogs inside why they passed through. Not sure if that has anything to do with it or not.
