Of course, there's been a terrible drop in the number of FReepers who are gun owners, due to our horrible tendency to have Tragic Boating Accidents, where all of our guns and ammo are suddenly, hopelessly lost forever.

When the China run Biden crime syndicate steals 2024 because the RINO party refused to do anything about election integrity, and Trump is sentenced to life in jail, any non-DemoMarxist who doesn’t own a gun is out of their mind.

There are also many people who simply, if unknowingly, practice good opsec and keep their mouths shut about what they may, or may not own.
If MSN really wants to know, I’m sure the BATFE could provide some insight with that fancy searchable database that they have been making the past couple of years. You know, that big, searchable database that is totally not a registry.

Asurge in “quiet gun owners,” much like the so-called “silent majority” in political circles, is leading firearms analysts to believe that far more Americans own weapons than the accepted 30% cited in polls.Got a gun that my granddad gave me...Jason Aldean
And these geniuses JUST figure this out?

It’s pretty bad when masses of Americans feel the sudden necessity to buy firearms in order to survive an election season. I wonder how much more anarchy the left has planned for us in ‘24?

Nah, I buy gun safes to store random home goods in. Haven’t you seen the pictures on Gun Vaults recently?
They show people putting tennis balls, handball rackets, golf clubs, baseball gloves and assorted sporting goods in them. Because you never know when a tennis ball will decide to pick itself up, and hurl itself at an unsuspecting human

Guns last a long time, if properly cared for.
Many old people’s guns have already been passed to their next generation, with no record in any government database.

I also believe that Americans are FAR richer than anyone realizes.

I would just like to throw it all the people who were given or inherited weapons from parents or grandparents.
Especially those who had grandparents in WWII and who brought home "souvenirs and mementos" from exotic locals.
The government has no idea who has what and hopefully they never will.
