My take is in order to get big bucks for a home, one has to live somewhat close to a metro area. It is hard for me to fathom home prices going up that fast way out in the sticks..

We are just under an hour from the edge of the metro area. We are with in a few miles of a major 4 lane freeway.

It’s a desirable area. But not that desirable.

I live in a modest sized midwest metro area. My take is the sweet spot for bedroom commuting is about a 10 to 20 mile oneway commute into town..
