Former President Donald Trump is giving yet another major Iowa presidential campaign event a miss next month.
Neither the 77-year-old 2024 Republican front-runner nor former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie are scheduled to be part of Hawkeye State Gov. Kim Reynolds’ “Fair Side Chats” at the Iowa State Fair — as Trump continues his feud with Reynolds and Christie focuses his attention on New Hampshire.
“President Trump looks forward to interacting with tens of thousands of Iowans at the fair in an open and unfiltered setting,” campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung told The Post of the apparent snub to Reynolds.

So what, he goes direct to the people...and wins.
Why doesn’t she like Trump? Weren’t they pals? What happened?
she didn’t endorse him ...
It is apparent that it doesn’t take much to get on Trumps’ S-— List. She is a great Governor and why Trump prefers to to shun her is beside sensibility, but it follows his pattern of name calling anybody not on his band wagon. This is one of the reasons many people just don’t like him.

So he’s going to the fair, just skipping Reynolds’ event.
“It is apparent that it doesn’t take much to get on Trumps’ S-— List.”
I look at it from the other perspective. Everyone in public life has already decided whether they are for Trump, or whether Trump is their mortal enemy whom they will do literally anything to stop. There doesn’t seem to be any middle ground, at least as far as public figures are concerned.
So if someone tells Trump they aren’t for him, they are essentially telling him they are his sworn enemy. That’s their choice, not his.
Fake....it’s all editorializing. Trump not showing up isn’t a direct challenge to this woman. Sheesh, get a grip
Bad move on Trump’s part. Erstwhile supporters may start getting the idea that...well, he’s a prick.
Because most of these people in politics have been in for decades and are two sides of the same coin.
The swamp is VERY deep.
” but it follows his pattern of name calling”
He does more than name calling. That is how he got buildings built and stiffed banks for hundreds of million$.
>> This is one of the reasons many people just don’t like him.
Yep, he’s unpopular all right; explains his paltry two percent poll showing.
-— oh wait -—
Nevermind.
This woman is like number 30 in terms of “popular” Govenors. No elected official is going to be the reason why Trump wins or loses a state.
But why pick needless, pointless, self-destructive fights...especially with really, really good and decent allies? It makes no sense.
Allies are the people who support you when it’s not easy and convenient. They support you when it helps YOU not when it helps them. She’s not an ally.
Why should Trump act any differently. He has been stabbed in the back, had road blocks thrown up all around him, and had false charges leveled at him. Hardly any help from so called conservatives.
Almost make you think all the people in government have something to hide.
Making enemies everywhere he goes.
He might win the nom, but the general is long gone. I wish it were different.
Cattle call? Sounds like something a group of party hacks came up with.
