U.S. Judge Lewis A. Kaplan says that former President Donald J. Trump may be said to have “raped” E. Jean Carroll, even though a jury specifically declined to find that he had done so in his recent civil trial in New York.
Aaron Blake of the Washington Post reported the judge’s finding — approvingly, calling it a “clarification”:
[Kaplan] says that what the jury found Trump did was in fact rape, as commonly understood.
The filing from Judge Lewis A. Kaplan came as Trump’s attorneys have sought a new trial and have argued that the jury’s $5 million verdict against Trump in the civil suit was excessive. The reason, they argue, is that sexual abuse could be as limited as the “groping” of a victim’s breasts.

“The finding that Ms. Carroll failed to prove that she was ‘raped’ within the meaning of the New York Penal Law does not mean that she failed to prove that Mr. Trump ‘raped’ her as many people commonly understand the word ‘rape,’ ” Kaplan wrote.
The jury found that Trump had not raped Carroll, but found him liable for sexual abuse and battery, based on claims about an encounter in a department store dressing room, though Carroll could not remember the year

What seems very likely is that U.S. Judge Lewis A. Kaplan just raped Trump.
This highly biased judge needs to be yanked off the bench so fast, his ears will whistle. Law is not a matter of what the judge THINKS, it’s a matter of proof of offense. This guy is an uber dimmocrap turd.

If I were on any jury hearing any of the pending cases against Trump I could guarantee a hung jury.
We have a totally broken justice system. I have zero faith in it, and pray I never have to defend myself for anything in this context. We have become the USSR in so many ways.
Some trials are bench trials where no jury is present
This is the antithesis of impartiality in a jurist, which is required in such cases.

I agree with others commenting — our legal system is broken, weaponized and corrupt.
The judge shouldn't be allowed within a mile of any aspect of the legal profession.
Translation: “It may be politically necessary to state that Carroll was raped, even though our incompetent police didn’t forge enough evidence to make criminal charges stick against the orange-haired Nazi.”
A jury of your “peers” is a long forgotten idea.
More like a jury of your enemies.
