US military destroys the last of its chemical weapons

"More than 30,000 tons of chemical munitions have been disposed of over nearly three decades.

Years behind schedule and several times over budget, the United States’ declared chemical weapons stock is fully destroyed.

The last batch of munitions containing sarin gas, a deadly nerve agent, were disarmed on Friday, July 7 at the Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant in Kentucky. The destruction was verified by the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons."...

..."Under the Chemical Weapons Convention, the military was supposed to have eliminated its stockpile in 2007, almost two decades ago. It was granted a five-year extension but failed to meet that as well. The U.S. gave itself a deadline of finishing the work by Sept. 30 of this year, which it finally met. The total cost of eliminating the weapons was $42 billion, 2,400 times over budget, according to the New York Times."

First primary source I found. It is hacked Ukrainian language and the scans have been published.

The French have denied it

People can judge for themselves. which source is more credible, EcoSocialists, or the Macron gov’t

An original budget of $175,000,000 to destroy 30,000 tons of Sarin. That is $583 per ton of Sarin. Given its deadliness, I would expect a much larger initial budget. I’m not sure I would need $1.4M per ton to do it, though.

Sure, destroy the last of it while keeping the first of it safe, secure, and dry.

I dont believe that’s true.
It is important to the military that someone in particular does believe it.

The USG still has hundreds of labs worldwide funded by congress engaged in chemical and biological research that is illegal by USA by law in the US. We violated the spirit of our own laws. Given that we are doing the research we probably have the stuff ready to overseas on allies military bases.

why bother with chemical weapons when you have bioweapons able to kill people by region?

thanks to the jab being encoded with specific DNA... they can now engineer a bioweapon to take out only the specific DNA.

want to get rid of poland? no problem. code the sequence with the polish specific DNA sequence, jab your ‘force’ of 100 insiders, and have them take trips around the world for 2 weeks.

it’ll spread to everyone in the world within 6 months and only those who received the polish covid jab, and their kids, would die.

i’m just surprised they didn’t do it by state

I don’t believe the US destroyed all of their chemical weapons.

Of course not. After all, what will they against normal Americans if they finally get enough?

[2,400 times over budget]

What was the original budget for, pouring it down the drain?
