Douglas Macgregor
@DougAMacgregor

Ukraine is in ruins. Its latest counteroffensive achieved nothing.

In the last three weeks, an estimated 26,000 Ukrainian soldiers died in pointless attacks against world-class Russian defenses.

The globalists(Biden, Zelensky...etc) and Putin together have utterly destroyed Ukraine and its people.

Hasn’t MacGregor been predicting a Russian rout for the past 18 months?

LOL ... exactly

we’re repeatedly told by the Russian apologists (like McGregor) that Ukraine is “completely wiped out”, and yet, somehow, they can *still* hold off a former superpower

how incompetent & useless does that make Russia look??!

Imposerous! Ukraine is winning and Putin is dying. I read in somewhere on the internet. We must send them more money and the last of our own ammo.

The Ukraine may be in ruins but Jo Jo and his scarecrows who like to stand up for the Ukraine are still pretty impressed. It’s kept the spotlight off of them for a long time.

“...we’re repeatedly told by the Russian apologists (like McGregor) that Ukraine is “completely wiped out...”

The war is occurring entirely on Ukrainian soil. That is where the devestation and carnage is.

Douglas MacGregor, yet another Trump appointed fool

"The battle in eastern Ukraine is really almost over, all of the Ukrainian troops there have been largely surrounded and cut off. You have a concentration down in the Southeast of 30 or 40,000 of them, and if they don't surrender in the next 24 hours, I suspect Russia will ultimately annihilate them." Douglas MacGregor February 27, 2022

"The first five days Russian forces I think frankly were too gentle," he said. "They've now corrected that. So, I would say another 10 days this should be completely over." Douglas MacGregor, March 2, 2022

Not only predicted, but has even declared it had already occurred several times over the course of that 18 months. Same posters keep posting the obviously incorrect information repeatedly. If it were to eventually happen, they will no doubt claim they - and he - were “right all along.”

Define defeat. This war started in 2014. Russia now holds more territory in Ukraine than before the war. Ukraine is unable to regain the lost land. Crimea has been fully integrated into Russia.

If Putin can’t defeat a ruined Ukraine then it is obvious that Russia represents no conventional military threat to Europe.

I see that you are just another Biden-supporting neocon stooge - pointing out the fact this source has zero credibility, as well as the same people who have repeatedly posted this stuff from him repeatedly over the same period of time. Why does truth matter to you? You must be a Nazi! < / s >

Well if you have been reading stuff on the internet, including here, you would have seen this same source since March 2022 making statements repeatedly that Russia has won, Ukraine has completely collapsed, will be over in matter of days, is now over, etc. Obviously false each and every time and the source and those who keep posting it obviously have zero credibility. So if this eventually were to occur, I guess you all would claim they were "right all along."

Likewise, there has been a daily propaganda thread making similar statements about Ukraine's imminent victory, Putin has been on the brink of a coup, death, etc. repeatedly as well over the same period of time.

Do you have confidence in the Biden national security team, i.e., Biden, Blinken, Sullivan, Nuland, Powers, Austin, etc.? I don’t. We have a compromised, corrupt, illegitimate, feeble President surrounded by fools and knaves.

I can’t endorse the policies of this Administration. They got us into this mess starting in 2014. They double down on stupid. We have a new Cold War and we are sleepwalking our way into a direct confrontation with Russia, a nuclear power over this proxy war, which we can’t afford and weakens us. Biden calls for regime change in Russia and Austin says the objective is to weaken Russia militarily so they won’t do this again. And how do you negotiate with someone you label as a war criminal?

Biden has invested so much personally in this war. Maybe he is influenced by the bribes he and his son have received. What will a desperate Biden, Blinken, Sullivan, Nuland, et.al., do when it becomes apparent that Ukraine can’t win. Further escalation? More attacks on Russian infrastructure like the Nordstream pipelines, the bridge connecting Crimea to Russia, drone attacks against the Kremlin, more cluster bombs, etc.? With a Presidential election coming up next year, how will Biden deal with the growing liability of the Ukraine war? Or fissures in NATO as many Europeans have grown increasingly less supportive of the war and want to end it sooner rather than later? Macron and Scholz are dealing with rising domestic opposition to the war. Hungary and Turkey are already outliers on the war.

You go to war with the leaders who got you there. Until the Biden Crime Family is removed from power, the prestige of the US will continue to decline. And more importantly, it is getting more dangerous for us as a nation. What is the exit strategy? What does winning mean? What are our red lines? How much money must we borrow to keep this war going?

Don't forget that as much as this war is costing us the rebuilding/reconstruction expenses will be that and more.

An endless slush fund with endless stories in the media that if we don't rebuild Ukraine it will lead to a resentful population and the beginnings of World War III.

Aah, they probably just need another $Billion or two.
Throw a little more cash at it and it'll be back on track again.
