The problem for them though is that any gas-burning engine or motor can be quite easily converted into a generator. And we have a nation of gearheads who can probably manage that without seeking any approval from regulators in DC.
Seems like they’ll have to eventually just ban gasoline if they really want to make this work.

Yeah, that is the secondary problem we are discussing how to address. We normally keep several five gallon containers of gas here to deal with immediate needs. We understand that even having a generator with some gas available will only be a short-term solution, but would hopefully give us time to adjust and find a solution more long-lasting.
