Former President Trump’s chief of staff John Kelly said a second term for the ex-president would result in a “nonstop gunfight” with Congress.
Kelly was Trump’s second chief of staff and came into the job hoping to instill discipline on the White House. He ended up lasting in the role for nearly a year and a half but had little success in ending the drama and infighting the characterized Trump’s administration.
“It would be chaotic,” Kelly said of what a second term might look like in the New York Times opinion piece.
“It just simply would be chaotic, because he’d continually be trying to exceed his authority but the sycophants would go along with it. It would be a nonstop gunfight with the Congress and the courts.”

In a way, he’s right. 4 years then what? Gavin Newsom will become President.

If it’s a non-stop gun-fight. then we already know which side Kelly will be on.
The american people KNOW this and the question is whether they will vote for it or if they will vote for stat quo, aka ‘peace’ and a pacified media. A vote for trump is a vote for democrat violence. Everyone knows it. Take that toy away from the toddler and the kid will throw a fit for days. So let him keep it, who cares as long as he’s happy right?
Well we know one thing certain, the feds/WEF/fascist Democrats and their UniParty comrades and China will work feverishly against any America First President of the USA.
I’ll take the one who is not beholden to any of those anti-Americans. President Trump is not compromised and his policies are exactly what our nation requires both domestically and internationally.
He won’t be trying to be re-elected and his focus will be The People and he will pass the baton to another America First President.

What are we in now? Democrats ignore Congress, the Supreme Court rulings, the laws, the people; they do whatever they want.

When? He lasted a year and a half. If I recall correctly, some of his challenges came from Ivanka and Jared. Is it necessary to trash everyone that tried to work for Trump? Besides, Trump picked him, do you criticize Trump for the pick? And when we look at the long list, nearly every Trump hire, at what point is it not the picks but Trump that is the issue?
Won't happen, but I like how you think. I've long said the war needs to be carried to the media liars and they need to pay consequences for manipulating the American public.
And with the growing history of job picks, departures, disloyalty, etc., who is going to want to work for Trump?

Another thought about a second term. If Trump were to get the nomination and win the election, would he be a lame duck from day one? Will Congress engage him?
“A non stop gun fight?” I don’t think so because next time Trump will choose his own people.
