Disney is boring. Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Princess Leia, Buzz Lightyear and Indiana Jones were sort of interesting in 1995. Walt started with railroading and Disney should focus on that.
Disney could make billions taking stories in the public domain (fairy tales, folk tales etc.) and turning them into animated movies. Just skip all the woke crap and tell the original tale.

It appears that everything Disney is being affected-couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch. When hubby and I would visit my cousins in Florida-in the early 80’s taking the cub to Disney was always a big deal-you couldn’t pay me to take a kid there now...
I did buy new collars for my 4 cats-I got Disney ones-they were marked way down at Chewy-but I wouldn’t have bought them at the regular price instead of the cheaper brand...
I would compare Disney to RNC Treasurer Ed Brennan’s Sears.
Ed ran the RNC like he did Sears. Disney types are the current Ed Brennans of the Democrat party.

The question arises what parts of Disney have value in the eyes of the buyers and and what buyers are unrealistic about the parts they buy. What buyers see the opportunity to repurpose the Disney asset for some 2030 fad?

One Disney executive boasted about her “not-at-all-secret gay agenda” and efforts at “adding queerness to” children’s programming, in leaked audio published by investigative journalist Chris Rufo on Tuesday.
“Our leadership over there has been so welcoming to my, like, not-at-all-secret gay agenda,” said Latoya Raveneau, an executive producer for Disney Television Animation. “I was just, wherever I could, just basically adding queerness … No one would stop me and no one was trying to stop me.”

There are creative people out there coming up with new concepts and stories. They can even do "diversity" with a bit of an amusing twist. These people will not work for Disney.
Disney cheats it's artists. There is no need for them to do so and they do it in petty, slimy ways. The kind of thing you would expect from two bit hustlers who shoot movies in dilapidated building they rent on a month to month basis.
So they are left with the uncreative.
They deserve everything that is coming to them.
Unfortunately, the decline is not going to happen as quickly as we would like. Disney is into a LOT of stuff.

The last 4 ceos from Michael Eisner on have lined their pockets with hundreds of millions. Iger salary in 2022 was $27 million.
And the unhinged activist community within Disney is so large/central that they simply can’t comprehend fixing this stuff. The business side does not appear that it would be allowed to fix things even if it were so inclined.

That means nothing. If the losses keep mounting the board will have to do something and most all of this is Iger’s doing anyway.
That is BS, they can’t keep that up even if they wanted to. Who knows Blackrock might be built on a house of cards financially themselves.
