Sanctuary city San Francisco is fueling property boom in HONDURAS as $350,000-a-year fentanyl dealers send cash home, safe in knowledge they likely face light sentences and will never be deported

Dealers working in the Californian city told The San Francisco Chronicle, which spent 18 months researching the town, that they earned $350,000 a year, and that San Francisco's policies as a sanctuary city made it an appealing destination.

That's because there's little risk of deportation if they're caught and convicted of drug dealing - with San Francisco also known among dealers for handing out light sentences if they do get caught dealing.

El Pedernal used to be a sleepy agricultural town of 1,600 people: now, construction is a prime industry, with workers earning $35 a day - four times what a farmer makes.

The town of El Pedernal in the Siria Valley, 80 miles north of the Honduran capital Tegucigalpa, is undergoing a construction boom thanks to remittences Many of those who leave El Pedernal go to San Francisco, and a significant number become involved in drug trafficking Of the 130 defendants who could be confirmed as Hondurans, 60 showed a specific region: of those, 51 were from the Siria Valley area

A small farming community north of Honduras' capital city Tegucigalpa is undergoing a construction boom thanks to large influxes of cash from San Francisco - where many of the local young men have set up a thriving drug market.

The town of El Pedernal is now flush with gaudy mansions emblazoned with the San Francisco 49ers logo, and homages to the California city's iconic Golden Gate Bridge.

One photo seen by DailyMail.com shows a man posing outside an impressive home with an imposing metal security fence, complete with a replica of the Golden Gate Bridge incorporated in its metal work.

But locals say many of the fancy new homes springing up in El Pedernal are being purchased with ill-gotten gains sent home from the City by the Bay.

It’s not just San Francisco. Add Tampa, Florida to that list. I’m sure there’s more. But there’s no way to explain the ostentatious spending habits of so many of the Hispanic community here who have very little English but plenty of cash to throw around and high end cars and trucks to drive and gold jewelry to wear around their necks. The local judges and law enforcement are all but invisible. Cartel Centrale.

I think you asked around from most ‘members’ here....we could identify at least sixty cities which now have this one odd drug problem.

Added to it, if you think about it...they are hustling the black gangs out of territory. Eventually, some drug-thug-gang war will start up....ten to twenty gang members killed each week, and the news media shaking their heads how this occurred.

But why stop there....aren’t a thousand Chinese guys a week crossing the border (B-P says that), and the odds that 10-percent are going to be fentanyl dealers...putting an added burden on the Latino/black drug gangs?

A death penalty would curtail their sense of “little risk of deportation if they’re caught and convicted of drug dealing”

Rats and stinking libertarians. Don't forget, that latter group are all about open borders and vending machine narcotics. They're allowed to spew their filth on this forum, but I don't know why.

Agreed. They are socially liberal, and fiscally conservative but the first part is what is making this country go down hill fast.

Are you saying that working 'under the table' as a construction laborer, hotel maid, or dishwasher doesn't pay well enough to afford those things? Maybe it's because they don't pay taxes.

Maybe it’s because they are collecting welfare in multiple states.

Is that 350K before or after taxes? California's share of 350K would be how much????

There's a couple of non-English speaking Hispanics renting a house next door--neither appear to have jobs but both drive nice cars and the rent ain't cheap.

60% tax on remittances (to start) and use the funds to deport illegals and build the wall. If the fund runs out, raise the tax on remittances.

The root cause of this is not corrupt politicians, it’s not drug smuggling kingpins, not low level drug smugglers, and not drug dealers. The root of the problem is the consumer. As long as there is a demand there will be a supply. I have no solution. I bet if you could wave a magic wand and stop consumption entire countries would collapse, starting with Mexico, and maybe our own.
