Yes. That is also a possibility. And a disturbing one. I have considered that.
And it is always possible it could be someone I vote for.
I feel like “checks and balances” are gone now.
Absolute proof right there the 17th Amendment needs to be repealed

Can it possibly be somebody else on the D side?
What scares me is that it could be anyone, even someone I vote for on the Republican side.
On the Left, they are all capable of tyranny due to their collective hive mindset. Like the scorpion and the frog, they are who they are.
But on the Republican side, I just don’t feel confident anymore that I know what we are going to get.
I feel a lack of...candidate transparency or predictablity as a voter. Honestly, the only politican I feel like I have voted on for the last 30 years ago who felt like he delivered on what he ran on was Trump.
Everyone else feels like a crap shoot, even Trump or DeSantis, but I feel as if with Trump, I have a better idea on what I will get because I have seen how he operates.
