I have more than a glancing familiarity with history, and this is going to end up where all totalitarian regimes eventually end up: Broke, at war, citizens conquered, subjugated, starving, and in chains trying to generate some form of resistance to a tryannical government without having it root them out and destroy them.
Our most decent Presidents had some military or farming background (Eisenhower, Carter, GW Bush). The least dignified had some College but not work experience - (think, Obama, Clinton).

1. As was said in the article, nothing will happen to any of the Biden’s with regards to a criminal prosecution.
2. They will be no backlash as long as the voters continue to re-elect the same people that have caused all these problems. McCarthy isn’t going to change. Graham isn’t going to change. Look at the reception that Graham got in his home state. 98% chance he’s re-elected.

Has there ever been a rebellion or revolution where the people are as fat, comfortable and passively entertained as our current populace? What prior civil upheaval would have even occurred if they had our unprecedented societal conditions? Seems to me history indicates that people will tolerate any political enormity as long as they can remain fat, comfortable and entertained as it happens to them.
