Fighting for the right to censor in blatant disregard for the US Constitution. His crime wave wake continues.

Under President Joe Biden, the government has faced intense scrutiny for its efforts to curb disinformation Truth and Facts online, with critics contending that such undertakings were in truth an attempt to silence opposition

Corrected.

Of course they are. There main tool in converting the world to communism has always been propaganda. So this hurts them a lot.

Supposing the regime just decides to not obey the order while saying they are abiding by it? What penalty is there?

These days “disinformation” means information which the government wants to diss, while “misinformation” means information the government wants people to miss.

Of course censorship is unconstitutional.

But think of all of the citizens who voted for progressives and want them to do it anyway. That’s the real problem.

In general, it looks like the progressives have tried to grab too much power and are finally getting pushback.

States can use the court rulings to arrest federal bureaucrats as terrorists under their anti-klan laws. Penalties include fines, imprisonment and death.

Facebook and G**gle can be civilly sued for cooperating with an illegal order, for each violation. This opens up discovery, which the antisocial media don’t want.

CIA and FBI both have agents embedded in newspapers, television, and antisocial media, so I expect it will be handled by th Biden maladministration telling their secret and not so secret agents what to censor, without paperwork and electronic communication to document the control.

Prior restraint on a puppet-state government abusing our liberties. That’s what it took, and it took 3 long years to get a court to recognize it.

Trust the Science! Dr Fauchi said they don’t work, then only N95s work, then any home made piece of fabric, then they only work if you wear two masks, but you don’t need to wear them while sitting at the table only walking in the restaurant, as long as you are dining in a tent outdoors that became indoors, you just can’t dine in the permanent indoors as that is too indoors unlike the outside indoors. See! Science!
