The same FAA controls private air traffic as commercial - blaming the FAA is BS, its the same workload for the controller no matter how big the aircraft is.

There was discussion of the current air travel problems on "The Journal Editorial Report" today on Fox. They said air traffic controllers are at 54% of the number needed and said much of the problem is caused by union rules. They blamed JFK for allowing unionization of public sector employees in 1962. The lockdowns added to the trouble because for two or three years few new air traffic controllers were being trained.

Naturally the government blames the airline companies.
