Pressure grows on judge to reject Hunter Biden plea deal amid evidence of DOJ interference
Just the News ^ | 6/28/23 | John Solomon

Pressure is growing in congressional, legal and media circles for the federal judge in the Hunter Biden case to reject a plea deal that would spare the first son from serving prison time after evidence has emerged from two IRS whistleblowers that a more serious criminal tax case was sabotaged by the Justice Department.

“I don't understand how any judge could bless this plea agreement now that all of this evidence of obstruction and DOJ and FBI wrongdoing has surfaced,” Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., told Just the News. “So I hope this judge does reject this, and then insists and demands on an honest investigation and an honest prosecution as well.”

Johnson, who with Sen. Charles Grassley led a two year probe into Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings, was reacting to testimony and evidence from IRS supervisory agent Gary Shapley and another whistleblower that federal prosecutors blocked search warrants, interviews and more serious criminal charges.

Pressure only works when it applied by the left. The GOP is toothless when it comes insisting on equal justice in America.

Unlike in most criminal cases, the government and the defendant are on the same side in this case. The goal of both parties is to make this case disappear with as little inconvenience as possible to all involved, but especially the Biden family.

In a related article:

“House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer demanded on Wednesday that the Department of the Treasury hand over suspicious activity reports (SARs) for individuals and entities related to Ukrainian energy firm Burisma and an alleged bribery scheme involving then-Vice President Joe Biden.

At issue is an allegation outlined in an FBI FD-1023 form containing confidential human source information. The alleged scheme involved a Burisma executive hiring now-first son Hunter Biden to the board of Burisma to secure access to his father, then-Vice President Biden. That Burisma executive allegedly paid a total of $10 million to two Biden family members in exchange for Biden using his influence to pressure the Ukrainian government to fire then-Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, who was investigating the firm at the time.”

“I don’t understand how any judge could bless this plea agreement now that all of this evidence of obstruction and DOJ and FBI wrongdoing has surfaced,”

I understand, and Johnson should, too. It’s a well established legal doctrine called “liberal immunity.” It has many legal precedents.

Merrick Garland keeps saying “Weiss HAD THE AUTHORITY TO DECIDE HUNTER’S FATE.”

What Garland does NOT say is:

BUT WE TOLD HIM TO MAKE THE DECISION WHAT ...GARLAND WANTED...that is “soft peddle” the charges and let Hunter be Hunter.

GROSS. But very clever.

Judge Maryellen Noreika is a democrat — and Trump appointed her.

Agree the pressure applied if any is weak at best. Safe to assume judges don’t consider evidence when dealing with Democrats.

“I don't understand how any judge could bless this plea agreement now that all of this evidence of obstruction and DOJ and FBI wrongdoing has surfaced,” Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis.

Unless the DOJ sent the team that took out Seth Rich to present a "plata o plomo" option to the judge, which has become our banana republic's SOP.

Who appointed the judge? They always tell us when it was Trump...

If the judge covers for Biden the judge will become part of the investigation into corruption.

Nice entertainment for the masses, but the Bidens will skate through unscathed. They will never pay the price.

Not only who appointed them but which Republocrats were responsible for approving these judicial appointments. Most of we republicans of thirty five years ago abandoned the party when it became apparent that they were a substantial part of the problem.

How many judges refused to see any of the obvious evidence of election fraud. Allowing some of these bs cases against Trump to go forward with no evidence. Guessing something will happen to be talked about by the main stream for a while and a judge will sign off in the middle of the night. Won’t even be mentioned.

Yep, zero chance anything changes in this obvious Hunter and Joe criminality. I’d throw in Joe’s wife Alice Cooper E.D. Except she seems too stupid to know what’s going on with the rest of the gang.

The Left completely owns the judicial branch and it’s all on Merrick Garland, who seems to be completely blackmailed and owned by UniParty elements.

They now even allow people to threaten conservative members of SCOTUS without any penalty. It’s insanity.

She’s another example of Trump’s poor judgment in nominating people to important positions.
