Special counsel John Durham went after House Judiciary Committee ranking member Jerry Nadler (D-NY) Wednesday for accusing his team of “glaring investigative missteps” during its four-year probe of the FBI investigation into alleged collusion between former President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russia.
Durham, 73, singled out the Manhattan Democrat during his opening statement at a panel hearing, saying he and his colleagues “carried out our work in good faith, with integrity and in the spirit of following the facts wherever they lead without fear or favor” and that “the findings set forth in this report are serious and deserve attention from the American public and its representatives.”
“At no time and in no sense did we act with a purpose to further partisan political ends. To the extent that somebody suggests otherwise — that’s simply untrue and offensive,” he told the House panel of his 306-page report following Nadler’s opening remarks.

It was a fabrication orchestrated by the DNC, the FBI, the CIA, DOJ and top members of the GOP.
Durham threw a softball and no one will care.

How long did Durham rehears this make believe act with the Democrats? Sorry, some us arent buying it anymore.
NO successful prosecutions, so many unasked and unanswered questions, flak cover from the Barr’s, Comey’s and Weissman’s of the world. Durham himself is responsible for his inability to tell the truth, the WHOLE truth and NOTHING but the TRUTH.
There is only one answer and the opiated American electorate may be unable to give it in 2024.

I’m consistently amazed at the number of “conservatives” who watch Free Republic for any story that shows progress towards prosecuting Democrats, and then immediately post their view that nothing will come of it.
It’s almost like they are Democrats pretending to be conservatives.
All Democrats have criminal hearts.
No specifics, of course. “Not one fact, not even a made-up one,” as Ayn Rand put it. Caveat: I am not a follower of Rand. She just said a few things that were quotable, so I quote them.

If you have frequented political forums at all, you know that there are always those that pretend to be other than what they actually are. The forum poster version of RINOs, IOW.
But most here are not pretending to be Conservatives. And for some reason, those here that are Conservatives seem to get attacked by the non-Conservatives. Which I don’t get. We’re on the same side against the left, so why would that happen....unless the ones attacking Conservatives are not really on the right, but on the left. At least, that’s what I always wonder.
When an investigation into a serious matter, and one that is criminal and that had major consequence for the country, turns up no indictments of the major criminal minds, then, it was a major waste of time and money.
An investigation that just points fingers but stops short of prosecutions, is a big waste.
Sort of like what is happening now with republicans pointing out the criminality of Joe Biden and son. Waste of time and money.
