Fox News’ interview with former President Donald Trump on Monday became tense after host Bret Baier told Trump, “But you lost the 2020 election.”
After Trump was asked how would win back the independent, suburban women voters who were a “hard no” in supporting him despite disapproving of President Joe Biden, Trump said, “First of all, I won in 2020 by a lot, ok? Let’s get that straight. I won in 2020.”
“That’s not what the votes show,” Baier shot back.
Trump insisted, “You take a look at Truth the Vote, where they have people stuffing the ballot boxes on tapes…” prompting Baier to respond, “Mr. President, that was all looked into.”
The interview became even more tense after Baier said, “Understand about the Hunter Biden, all fair things, but you lost the 2020 election.”
“Uh, Bret, uh you take a look at all of the stuffed ballots,” replied Trump. “You take a look at all of the things, including things like the 51 intelligence agents.”
Baier pointed out that “there were recounts in all the swing states,” where it was determined that “there was not significant widespread fraud.” He also noted that “there were lawsuits, more than 50 of them by your lawyers, some in front of judges that you appointed, that came up with no evidence.”
After Trump continued to maintain that the 2020 election was rigged, Baier questioned, “This is how you’re going to tell that independent suburban woman voter to vote for you?”

Trump normally is very good at pushing back against leftist crap weasels but on the election stuff, he really cannot make the case well. I've listened to Lindell as well and he's completely incoherent.
Republicans need to be focusing on China's threat rather than playing Sore-Loserman. Even Algore eventually got the message to stop talking about the election.
Even if the Democrats cheated, Trump’s still a loser. Fair? No. But life’s not fair.

That’s not a winning message for people who don’t already support Trump. He’s got to drop this topic to win in the general.
DeSantis has no chance in the primaries but Trump needs something more for the general than “I didn’t lose, no really.” No one but hardcore MAGA wants to hear it. The majority think it’s sore loser behavior, especially when the case for election fraud just keeps getting squashed flat as what Baier did in the interview.
I don’t think Trump should’ve done this interview because he was not well prepared for a hostile Rupert Moloch puppet.

Yeah trump is trying to walk the line of getting the ability to promote himself on Fox but maintaining a maverick appeal.
He needs to do the later and let them follow him around, because he is a money maker. Tell them to their faces that they’re liars and that bret beir only says these things because theres money behind it. Trump won when he called out the gop money machine.
What the elite political class don’t tell you is Biden can’t get reelected with 41% average, for past year, job approval numbers...hence all the muddy up get Trump...all these cases are a joke and abuse of power stretching the law and done with compliant press both print, online, TV and cable.
See them pushing Desantis...who is clearly not being bought by the electorate. He comes across that he thinks people are stupid...see’s his interview on CBN...what a disaster.

I’m not sure what you’re imagining here. I have never supported DeSantis on here. Trump is the strongest Republican candidate but this is his weak point.
No one who watched that interview thought Trump won the exchange with RINO Baier. All the allegations have been examined and they have failed. We’re 3 years after the fact as well. This is like a child kicking and screaming on the floor about something that happened long ago.
This is not Fox News of 2015. The new Fox is under new management. Bret was likely under direction to behave as the Un-Hannity.
