I think it’s for his own good. His mouth has been his main problem since day 1. This is going to help him in his case.

Yep; like King Saul, he is his own worst stumbling block.

Nice try but yes, it will soon be shot down. He was not charged with “18 U.S.C. § 1924 - UNAUTHORIZED REMOVAL AND RETENTION OF CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS OR MATERIAL”, because that has already been decided by the Supreme Court and they decided the Presidential records Act overrides that.
They knew that case would fall flat on it’s face, so they went under the Espionage Act Title 18, United States Code, Section 793(e). Bear in mind, this statute requires willful knowing acts, careless, accidental, or negligence. Also it is not enough to show NDI existed. A jury may not find that information is NDI solely because it is classified. Instead, the government must prove the relationship of the NDI to national defense and, in some courts, the potential harm that could result from its disclosure.

Typical DC corrupt attempt, but Justice Thomas runs that judicial District. Soon, the Supremes will hand Jack Smith the resident of Holland another crushing defeat. And that doesn’t even get to other reversible actions like illegally designating his attorneys as co-conspirators to grab their notes despite attorney client privilege.
And then of course, straight up illegal acts like telling Nauta’s attorney that his Federal Judge application would not advance unless Nauta turned on Trump. That is straight up bribery.

But thanks for playing swamp boy. Don’t take it too hard when Thomas dashes your dreams. LOL

Most of Y’all thought it was just great when they did this to Alex Jones: Take away his Constitutional rights because you don’t like him, consider him an embarassment to your fine sensibilities.

Fewer, perhaps, but still many of you think it is fine to take those rights away from Trump because you either support one or more of his opponents, or because you don’t like the way he talks.

If this unconstitutional Lawfare against ‘enemies of the Deep State’ is not stopped NOW, how are you going to like it when it is used against you, or someone you do like?

That should have read; Bear in mind, this statute requires willful knowing acts. Careless, accidental, or negligence is not enough under the law.

If you want to be a sheep, then you can be a sheep and
that is okay, but you must understand the price you pay
When the wolf comes, you and your loved ones are going
to die if there is not a sheepdog there to protect you.

.........................

If you want to be a wolf, you can be one, but the sheepdogs
are going to hunt you down and you will never have rest,
safety, trust or love. But if you want to be a sheepdog and
walk the warrior’s path, then you must make a conscious
and moral decision every day to dedicate, equip and
prepare yourself to thrive in that toxic, corrosive moment
when the wolf comes knocking at the door
...........................
This business of being a sheep or a sheepdog is not a yesno dichotomy. It is not an all-or-nothing, either-or choice.
It is a matter of degrees, a continuum. On one end is an
abject, head-in-the-grass sheep and on the other end is the
ultimate warrior. Few people exist completely on one end
or the other. Most of us live somewhere in between.
Since 9-11 almost everyone in America took a step up
that continuum, away from denial. The sheep took a few
steps toward accepting and appreciating their warriors,
and the warriors started taking their job more seriously.
The degree to which you move up that continuum, away
from sheephood and denial, is the degree to which you
and your loved ones will survive, physically and
psychologically at your moment of truth

From the article it is obvious you never read. You chose to be offended rather than learn something. I post this often, to counter all the lies from the media and left. Read and think.

I love the following, does it make any sense to you?

If you want to be a wolf, you can be one, but the sheepdogs
are going to hunt you down and you will never have rest,
safety, trust or love.

I would not bet the farm on that .
Smith is a very serious lawyer with a very good reputation .
He does not make mistakes .
Trump can not find a serious FL law firm for a number of reasons.
No serious law firm wants a client that makes erratic comments and personally insults the DOJ Prosecutors .

That’s correct! They will. This is what a commenter just posted at Conservative Treehouse:

[We KNOW the prosecutors will find a way to leak discovery material out to the public. If this happens, it can be used to file a motion to dismiss. The prosecutors can TALK about discovery material, but that also risks serious court ruling about the impact this has on jury and injury to defense. Because these allegations are specially ordered to be sealed and to be protected, the honus is really on the prosecutors office to prevent said evidence from making its ways to the public. If this is violated, there is a good reason to believe the defense counsel has a solid grounds to have that material removed from the case entirely, even if the move to dismiss is not approved by the judge.

Prosecutors, in the attempt to limit the ability of President Trump to defend himself in this highly publicized witch hunt, now find themselves cornered by the same strategies they rely on to achieve a conviction.

This is going to be a very interesting case.

If I was on the defense counsel, I would just do the waiting game. And make public remarks in a high profile way to the media every single day…non stop. Eventually the prosecutors will make a mistake…it’s their nature. And they will leak material out to the press.

then it’s game on.]

https://dainikbidyaloy.com/2023/03/03/desantis-had-advance-knowledge-of-mar-a-lago-raid-texted-with-ag-garland/

“Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had advance knowledge of the FBI’s August 8 raid on President Donald J. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate but chose not to warn him that an army of federal goons was about to descend on Palm Beach like a swarm of locusts, according to a new White Hat study General Eric M. Smith shared with his council on Tuesday.

The report, authored by U.S. Army Cyber Command and Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command, asserts that DeSantis entertained AG Merrick Garland at the governor’s mansion in Tallahassee on July 25, two weeks ahead of the raid. It states that the joint cyber command task force acquired surveillance footage of Garland and two unidentified men arriving at DeSantis’ home at 8:00 p.m. that evening.”

Jack Smith is indeed a lawyer with rare skills, he was reversed 9-0 by the Supreme Court in his last attempt to go after a Governor.

I would call that “a mistake”. LOL

I don't believe nonsense posted on Twitter .
You need to read the summary decision and the timeline not blindly believe a twitter post .

Are you a lawyer ?
Ever worked for a law firm ?
Smith has a great resume .
What about your legal ?
Don't insult people you obviously know little about.
Didn't you think Biden was a JAG ?
That was his son who died of brain cancer .

If Trump committed serious crimes, then every living former president back to Jimmy Carter needs to be indicted, gagged and put to trial. If it is against the law for a president to take classified documents out of office with them, then every single former president is guilty.

If what is happening here was justice, Biden Hillary Clinton, and a slew of others who took classified documents, without any authority to declassify them, would be in court. A law that is enforced selectively is not a just law and should have no power.

Cut the “no one is above the law” BS. That is right out of the speech from the political prosecutor bringing this bogus case.

This is a standard judicial admonition. They are not saying he can’t talk. They are saying he cannot talk about the specifics of the case or documents.

So the indictment with specifics is public but the president can't respond with specifics in public?

Gag orders are government censorship. They are unconstitutional.

“Limiting pretrial publication will reduce the chance of poisoning the jury pool.”

The prosecution can continue to poison the jury by leaking to its accomplices in the media. No problem.

But the defendant is muzzled, unable to strike back. That’s not blind justice

Yep; like King Saul, he is his own worst stumbling block.

Silly me. I thought it was the Deep State with its multiple impeachments and investigations, seven years of non stop propaganda and now law fare threatening to incarcerate Trump for hundreds of years, that was Trump's "worst enemy".

But no, it's Trump simply defending himself that is.
