The Department of Justice asked a Florida court to stop former President Donald Trump from releasing classified documents given to his legal team in its defense of his alleged mishandling of sensitive records.
Prosecutors claim some of that information is part of an ongoing investigation involving the 45th president’s alleged activities, according to The Hill. Information could pertain to people who haven’t yet been charged.
The protective order requests that discovery material in Trump’s case “shall not be disclosed to the public or the news media, or disseminated on any news or social media platform” without approval from the court.
However, The Hill claims the DOJ’s filing indicates Trump would still have access to records he kept at his Mar-a-Lago estate, which was searched by federal agents in August. If the order is granted, the 31 documents being used in the case would be available to the 77-year-old defendant when he’s accompanied by attorneys.

They are pulling the same type of crap they did in the Alex Jones trial. Trying to deny Trump all the tools and ways he would normally have to defend himself.
Misconduct? Sure it is but this is not the first or last time they will deny him justice.

I have heard he has all the nuclear launch codes in those docs, and he can attack any country at will.
But seriously, what he may have, is evidence of Deep State corruption, collusion and consorting with our enemies.
The DOJ has a lot of nerve asking for this considering the way they have been leaking information.
Another avenue of appeal if he’s convicted. Perhaps this can be appealed even before or during the trial.

Yes. Trump is going to start WWIII. Not only should there be a gag order, Trump and his attorneys shouldn’t have access to any evidence, particularly the nuke launch codes.
There are plenty of people that are so low-IQ’d that they unquestionably believe crap like this. They have no ability to think.
The way I understand it Trump stored all these classified docs in his underground COVID vaccine lab.
Trump needs to deal with these pr###s when he takes the seat again. This time NO QUARTER! a purge unlike any in American history and a dedicated commission to investigate and jail all those who broke the law

This is them pretending the documents he had were still classified. And notice, he was not charged under the law pertaining to classified information. He is bizarrely charged under the espionage act. This will be shot down by the Supreme Court before much longer.
Supposed he had the Crossfire Hurricane document. He declassified those documents while he was President. It’s important to recognize exactly what that means. Trump declassified the Crossfire Hurricane documents so that OTHERS may access the documents.
It’s also important to recognize that DOJ’s case is not about classified documents, although that’s what they and the media seems to want to make it. This case is about government records, presidential records and personal records.
The only rational explanation for the recent activity of the DOJ and FBI in the Trump cases is that the leadership knows it has committed crimes and must now try to eliminate Trump in order to cover them up.
