A high-ranking Space Force officer has spoken out slamming a slew of recent anti-LGBTQ state laws, saying they have a negative impact on military families and force readiness.
Lt. Gen. DeAnna Burt made the remarks in a fiery speech at the 12th Annual DoD LGBTQ+ Pride Event in Washington DC, saying that the laws sometimes forced her to choose 'less qualified' candidates for postings in those states.
'Since January of this year, more than 400 anti-LGBTQ+ laws have been introduced at the state level,' said Burt, the Space Force's deputy chief of space operations.
'That number is rising and demonstrates a trend that could be dangerous for service members, their families, and the readiness of the force as a whole,' the general added.

I have a family member who has a friend she has known since high school and her friend joined Space Force and was assigned to Hawaii. Upon their arrival they were given a handout telling them they could attend church, but only those churches that were approved of on this handout and that they had better not attend any un-approved churches. Want to guess what every last church on the handout supported...

The fact that our military now values ideological compliance over ability is chilling, it telegraphs the leadership’s intentions to turn our stockpile of semi-autonomous weapons against traditionalist Americans.

All the pro-LGBTQ-FJB nonsense being forced down the throats of military service members is severely harming recruitment and retention. The more the military transitions into social engineering, the fewer people that want to and are willing to serve. You cannot sustain a military drawn from a pool of less than 1% of the population.
It’s a very common practice for any company doing business in the Middle East.
The law requires a local to fill certain positions. Invariably, it’s a local big-wig’s son or nephew. They collect the paycheck and stay on permanent vacation.
