Barely...But, he didn’t there in 2015 and Ted Cruz won the Colorado straw poll that year.

Cruz won the most delegates in CO in 2016.

Carson won the 2015 CO Conservative Straw Poll.

Every time that Trump or his minions bad mouths a fellow Republican or supporter of a fellow Republican, that is less votes

Trump has been ripping apart his opponents since 2015 and it has never hurt his ability to get votes.

Have you been in coma for the past eight years?

“Yup. I am voting for Trump even if I have to write his name in.”

If someone votes for a candidate they like, it is not throwing their vote away. That’s the way I look at it.

But a state’s electoral votes, and a national election, can hinge on a vote or two in each precinct.

You may figure you can live under another Democrat president and do fine. If you have young grandchildren, can they?

Think about that.

Yup. The only trumpers will come to Bidens rescue if anyone but trump is the nominee.

Not this "only-trumper".

If DeSantis wins the nomination, I will vote for him in the general election.

It's a sentimental thing. Voting only for Republicans as if it matters. It can't hurt and it might even work. It's the best odds that we have.

There is no point in fighting with DeSantis supporters. That is clearly what the Democrats are encouraging us to do. I don't do what my enemies are encouraging me to do. No hard feelings guys. We are going to need all the allies we can get as things move along.

What I expect to happen is that the Democrats will crank up their vote fraud programs to "eleventy" and put whatever shambling wreck they nominate into the office of the President as a result of the 2024 "elections". The name of the Republican candidate just isn't going to matter.

Then we will get on with the next step in negotiation of the new social order. A most untidy and unpleasant time with uncertain outcomes. It won't involve voting with ballots.

Yup. I am voting for Trump even if I have to write his name in.

If Trump isn't on the ballot, I probably will, too. Before someone jumps on me for this and claims I'm electing Biden (or whoever the dunce is that they nominate), I live in Kansas. If the Republican nominee needs my vote and support to carry Kansas in the 2024 general election, he or she is already in a world of hurt.

Why? In the national election, sure, but in the primaries, no way? Every time that Trump or his minions bad mouths a fellow Republican or supporter of a fellow Republican, that is less votes, less enthusiastic votes that Trump might get.

What you don’t seem to understand is that voters care about the Republican Party less and less everyday. The numbers of people who view Trump’s attacks on fellow Republicans as a negative is dwindling fast. Loyalty to the country is what matters, not loyalty to the party. This is not Lincoln’s or Reagan’s Republican Party. Today’s Republican Party is a shell of what it once was.

Then you are a really bad only trumper ;)

only trumpers will only vote trump in the general. I’ll vote for most anyone at the top of the republican ticket after the primary. (I expect EVERYONE who votes in the primary to pick who they want and let the best one win)

even a rino would be better than the democrat.

Nope. a rino isn’t better than a democrat, anymore.

The swampy GOPe is lock step the same as the democrats...

After a month of mccarthy saying, and voting, on a debt bill that would at least hold the line back a little bit on spending.....

Over a weekend, mccarth scuttles the bill, and goes with biden wants,

And almost all ‘republicans’ in the house and senate, have been gaslighting the public to get them to think what biden wanted is a great deal, compared to what the house worked on, voted on, and approved.

Nope. No more.

Name a RINO that’s for the authoritarian initiatives that the Biden/Zero crowd tried to put into place - like a national censorship commission! Name a RINO that’s as pro-Net Zero as these Rat dim bulbs. Yes RINOs are awful but this Rat crowd is at a whole different level! RINOs are usually just venal & corrupt. Rats are civilization ending!

I suppose I am not going to pass anybody's purity test.

I definitely prefer Trump over DeSantis. But I am a traditionalist at heart. "Any Republican is better than any Democrat".

And I will work with any odds that are greater than zero.

Nope. a RINO isn’t better than a democrat, anymore.

Only in the sense that electing a RINO gives a Democrat the boot is the RINO any better. I am all for giving incumbent Democrats a kick to the curb, regardless of who replaces them. Rinse, lather and repeat.

The "Election Show" has almost reached the end of the line anyway. Best to stay on good terms with people who will be needed as allies to deal with what comes afterwards. That isn't the RINOs. It is their soon-to-be-disillusioned supporters.
