Hmmm…. eliminate the MCAT as a screen for admission to medical school, demand “equity” outcomes in medical school, bypass the (real world experience) residency requirement…. what could possibly go wrong?
If hospitals can staff with doctors from India, and doctors from India are much cheaper to hire, why wouldn’t they just fire all their American doctors?
And the rest of us suffer for it!

Rural health care is bad enough already.
America is headed for medical quality typified by the British National Health Service. I live in Ohio where most primary care providers are either “Osteopaths” or Nurse Practitioners. Only time I’ve been seen by an actual MD in thirteen years is when I had back surgery, and now my cardiologist, (who gives me 15 minutes and hands me off to a “Physicians Assistant”).
They want more violence in urban hospitals?
