Trump ‘uses you until there is no use for you anymore’: Kayleigh McEnany predecessor Stephanie Grisham
NY Post ^ | 6/4/2023 | Isabel Keane

Former President Donald Trump lashing out at his ex-press secretary Kayleigh McEnany came as no surprise to her predecessor Stephanie Grisham.

Grisham, who served as White House press secretary in 2019, told CNN’s Jim Acosta that Trump’s Truth Social rant dubbing her successor “Kayleigh ‘Milktoast’ [sic] McEnany” was par for the course.

“This is what he does,” Grisham said Saturday. “He uses you until there is no use for you anymore, or until you dare to say something that could possibly be construed against him.”

Sheesh. Someone writes “United Nation” and I’m supposed to assume they mean America? We already have a “United Nations” and I’m not a fan of it.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
Your fault for confusing a reference to our united Nation with the United Nations. You could do the country a favor by resigning from the FR’s Never Trump Brigade that’s now joined forces with the ‘rats and the RINOs, many of whom are terrified that Trump will be our next President and cause them all to be hanged for treason!

We do, but this is a somewhat different issue, or an ugly outgrowth of the end of a free press: To see the Post following so slavishly the customs of the British press of today is very disheartening, to say the least.

This worship of one candidate and total trashing of another is just plain bad journalism. Makes the Post into a worthless screed.

Take a look at the Brit tabloids once in a while. The Puritans came here for a reason.

In light of the source, I consider that characterization a compliment!

I'd say Melania and Donald Trump were pretty generous to give such important jobs to someone who was busted for DUI - twice!

Steph rewarded the Trump's with a nasty tell-all book...yet SHE has the gall to speak of "loyalty"??

I’ll do ya one better. This woman was a mess long before Trump! She was fired from multiple jobs, she worked for Romney, and THEN she got the DWIs. And Trump still hired her! Trump has a history of hiring absolute idiots and DC swampers. It’s amazing people continue to defend him and his judgement.

In observing politics over half a century I’ve taken note that every high level politician I viewed as moral, honest, sensible and decent had a junkyard dog doing dirty work. The best scenario is when that politician just “entrusts” the dirty work to an operative he doesn’t have to question, maintaining distance for deniability. With Trump, you get it all in one package. It’s actually simpler to keep track of and understand than the connivers. It seems to actually be part of his appeal. I’m sure it’s frustrating to those who actually are charging for their services.

Not like getting a job in the work place. You know like the real world does

Working for Trump may have been a job for someone. Do what? The whining after is ridiculous. The pay check cleared.

Did I say there was anything wrong with that ??

The comment speaks for itself, there is no middle ground with Trump, meaning he probably won’t attract any new voters which I think he or any other Republican needs to win

Kayleigh now has shed the Trump Loyalist label and can now be considered for a high-paying job at FoxNews.

She probably called DJT and asked him to diss her (gently).

Haha. What are you talking about? “Mine” my history? Nobody needs to “mine” my history. I’ve made it clear who I am and what I do over the last 22 years here. NYPD cop, Army Officer (NG). I currently live in the decent State of Virginia. I support DeSantis for President. Anything else you need to know?

“he keeps reinforcing the negative views people have toward him.”

No, the media does that, then conservatives run around carrying their water.

Over last summer when his team announced Trump would be making a special announcement, everyone was looking forward to it, the announcement was Trump Trading Cards to purchase.

Totally reinforced the image a lot of people have about Trump is that he’s not serious and is only interested in himself.

When Trump trashed Kayleigh McEnany recently that also reinforces that image.

When Trump announces he could solve the Ukraine situation in an hour.

The point is, for those people on the fence about Trump these types of actions do nothing but reinforce in their mind he’s not serious.

No media is required to illustrate Trump’s image.

“Over last summer when his team announced Trump would be making a special announcement, everyone was looking forward to it, the announcement was Trump Trading Cards to purchase.”

Oh, no. That is not what happened. That is what the media said happened and concerned conservatives started telling everyone that’s what he did.

Trump actually made an announcement. It was very good, did you see it? If you did, like I did, which part of it seemed not serious?

Kayleigh knew what she was doing. Attack the general, expect to get attacked. The left hates this about a person. They want to be able to beat on someone without them fighting back so their attacks stick. To hell with that.

“he could solve the Ukraine situation in an hour.”

He probably could. The left started this crock by challenging Putin then not giving him any way out. I watched them do it. It was unbelievable. The same asshats that said Trump was going to get us nuked. Forcing Russia into a fight.

No, if there is anyone on the fence right now, they have not been paying attention.

“No media is required to illustrate Trump’s image.”

Then why do they work so tirelessly at it? For the last 8 years. Relentlessly. No, if media was not driving this with their paid army of flying monkey ‘splainers Trump would have 80% support.

I watched them do the same thing to Sarah Palin. But with her it worked.

Ask yourself, did Trump sell Trading Cards or not, here he is bragging about it.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/donald-trump-trading-cards-nft-b2322583.html

Kaleigh McEnany was one of his best people who did a great job in very trying circumstances, if you have a problem with her, why not call her on the phone and talk it out, versus trashing her on social media. It absolutely reinforces the image of him being thin skinned and petty, over an opinion poll, something insignificant.

Could Trump solve the Ukraine Issue, absolutely he could, it would take months not one hour, you are naive to think he wouldn’t get serious push back from Democrats and Republicans who support the war.

The media tears him apart continually because that’s what they do and because he’s leading Republican for the 2024 election.

Yes, his campaign developed some NFTs. He also wrote a book. The left attacks him for both.

It ain’t much, but I guess you go to war with what you got. It isn’t working though. Because it is not a valid or rational reason to not like someone.

Trump and Kaleigh had a falling out. So what. This kind of thing happens all the time, especially in DC. It sure isn’t much to make an issue out of. But again, I guess you go to war with what you got.

Maybe it would take an hour. Maybe Putin just needs a way out that would save face. If I was in Trump’s position, you know what I would do? I’d pre-coordinate it. Maybe he has. The left would of course attack him for that, run on about something or other. Whatever.

These are irrational reasons to not like someone, which is why they don’t land. You know what is a good reason? If the guy molests a 7yr old on camera. Now that would be a good reason not to like a candidate. But media is quiet on that one for some reason.

The part you don’t understand is, it’s not about how you and I feel about Trump, it’s 2-4% of the electorate he and any other Republican needs to get elected.

If Trump shut his mouth about nonsense and only talked about policy and how to deal with the real problems the country faces, he would go a long way to influence those 2-4% of the voting public.

An even large percentage of people don’t give a damn about Trading Cards, Books, or anything else, they care about gas prices, illegal immigration, war in Ukraine, etc....

Any time Trump spends not talking about those issues is time he loses trying to reach those 2-4% of the electorate.

Unfortunately for Trump and those who support him is that he’s not going to change, which is going to make the chance of him getting elected again nearly impossible.

The Kayleigh McEnany situation is a perfect example, how much time was spent discussing that situation and not other issues that really effect the country.

When people say, that’s media doing it, absolutely true, which makes even less sense, everyone knows how the media will react to something like that and yet he keeps doing it.

Supposedly somehow a senile Joe Biden who rarely left his basement got 81 million votes, if that can be arranged, it shouldn’t be difficult to accomplish the same thing with Kamala Harris or some other Democrat.
