None of my business, but my general observation is that dads who are getting physical with their teenage sons should always bear in mind that their sons will most likely be bigger and stronger than them before very long.

That's why they do it. To establish and reinforce dominance before the kid gets too big. My Dad bounced me off a wall when I was 16. NBD. Just reminding me who was Boss.

Handsy moms learn that lesson years earlier. The physical abuse stops the day the boy hits back. Neither side ever forgets that day.

maybe- but dads today grew up working hard labor jobs by and large- kids growing up today sit around all day, don’t go outside to exercise and play- dont go to gyms etc- and a lot of them are now ‘gimmedats’ who expect to be treated like royalty instead of having to go out and earn a living doing manual labor jobs- The next generation doesn’t look too promising really-
