None of my business, but my general observation is that dads who are getting physical with their teenage sons should always bear in mind that their sons will most likely be bigger and stronger than them before very long. That's why they do it. To establish and reinforce dominance before the kid gets too big. My Dad bounced me off a wall when I was 16. NBD. Just reminding me who was Boss.
