When she first appeared back at the Senate chambers, I said there was more to the story about her medical condition and she was suffering from something worse than just a bad case of the shingles. I said she appeared to have had a stroke.
Given the fact that the official story keeps changing to include other medical problems in order to excuse her condition, a stroke is still very possible. With Fetterman’s condition, I don’t think they would want another stroke victim at the forefront of the news when it comes to a Senate member.
Feinstein needs to go ahead and resign. It’s obvious that she cannot mentally or physically do the job she was elected to do. Previously, she was evil and corrupt. Now, she is evil and corrupt, along with being physically and mentally incapacitated. Much like Biden.

If caught early, antiviral drugs may help limit an attack of shingles. The best pain remedies for the post-herpetic neuralgia (nerve pain) of shingles are opiates and, to a lesser extent, gabapentin. Those usually being off limits due to addiction and other issues, that leaves NSAIDS like aspirin, Tylenol, and such for pain relief.
For me, long, heavy use of NSAIDs did so much damage to my GI tract that I had to discontinue use. Benadryl helps slightly, but I benefit more from regular use of the nutritional supplements MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane), NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine), and PEA (Palmitoylethanolamide). Hot baths and strong, three bag cups of tea also help with pain relief.
For a time, I also used medical marijuana patches, but they are expensive and gave me the munchies.
More broadly, Vitamin D deficiency and depletion seem to be involved in shingles and post-herpetic neuralgia. That being so, correction with supplements and a vitamin D rich diet and sun exposure are called for but can have the paradoxical effect of increasing the level of pain for a time.

I don’t know what the process is here. It must be that Newsom cannot simply appoint a replacement. There has to be a reason the rats are keeping her there despite the obvious fact is not capable.
Doesn’t make any difference if she steps down. It’s California. She will be replaced by another Dem, only worse. The country is better off with a sick her in office than a replacement that will be healthy enough to do even more damage
