The National Archives has informed former president Donald Trump that it is set to hand over to special counsel Jack Smith 16 records which show Trump and his top advisers had knowledge of the correct declassification process while he was president, according to multiple sources.

The "declassification process" is established entirely within the Executive Branch of the U.S. government. This means the President's actions in handling classified materials isn't subject to interpretation by anyone outside the office of the President.

I saw an interesting video of Rep Clyde questioning Wray about the whole thing.

He pretty much lays out a bullet proof defense as there’s already case law dating back to Clinton. And the statute is not criminal, nor are there any penalties. So where does the obstruction come into play?

How much attention is the National Archives focusing on the many classified documents that Biden had to check for possible irregularities?
