Whatever Trump is doing here he is well advised to just go for the truth life begins at conception. To prevent conception or kill afterwards is luciferian. If he won’t go there he needs to shut the hell up

Most folks have an internal filter to stop all that. Trump evidently has no such filter.
That’s not the worst thing in the world! Patton was like that. But Patton had someone to run interference for him, and rein him in when necessary (Eisenhower).
Trump desperately needs a senior trusted advisor, someone to moderate things a bit. As it is now, too many things Trump says are net negatives. That’s no way to get much-needed MAGA back.
If Trump is losing you, he never had you. He hasn’t changed any of his positions. Watch his CNN answer. He’s pretty clearly not going to force a national ban so if that’s your line, Trump isn’t your guy. If he loses the country is done, as founded, so that’s one less thing you have to worry about. A national ban isn’t not going to pass the Senate. Why lose the elections over it? Brett Kavanaugh could barely pass nomination because he might, potentially, send it back to the states. If you actually care about results having be a state issue is thr smartest thing you can do.
And the media prints, "Trump accuses DeSantis of wanting to start WWIII."

We have to dig into the fine print to make sure we are not being lied to before concluding that Trump has once again spoken poorly.

So funny, watching the remaining Trump supporters try to twist this into something positive, Trump would not of spoke on the topic, saying what he did, if it wasn’t a criticism of DeSantis.
