He was an outsider in a DC Swamp co-owned by the Rs and D’s of the Bush-Clinton-Bush-Obama era.

Trump was in DC for 4 years.

Now we know some who were Swamp First even while they may have had an R next to their name or served with Administrations like Reagan,etc..

The Swamp didn’t have a MAGA wing in it until 2017 when Trump entered the Swamp.
That MAGA wing had found a home in the R team. Infiltrated it and makes war against it..

The same R team that peddled Bush,Dole,Bush,McCain,Romney before Trump.

Two of those were part of that swamp scum Senate that Trump had to try to get to approve nominees and America First..
Swamp games..

Domestic enemies are tough to overcome when they can be called Senator or even Madam Speaker..

He may have been a lawyer, but he was one that volunteered to serve in a combat zone. It’s always the middle class guy doing the work billionaires’ kids won’t do.

“He’ll do that again but this time he needs to have banked votes prior to election day...probably 50 or 60m pre election day votes.”

The Left simply will not allow it to happen. They now own the elections where it matters and they count the votes…. Be realistic - the left is in way too deep now to ever let another 2016 to happen. 2020 proved they could do it without consequence and 2022 was their confirmation. I believe they’re pure evil and will not give up the power under any circumstances.
At this point, Trump may literally be considered as a lethal threat by many of the left’s ringleaders. They know they’re guilty as hell of treason and he may prosecute them all this time, and justifiably so.
If there is to be ANY chance of any Republican being elected in 2024, they’ll need minimum of 100M votes BEFORE Election Day. Is there a plan for anything like this to happen?? On a scale that would be needed? If so, who is putting a plan together?? What is being done in the critical states to stop the steal?? Where is any ground game organizing for massive GOTV for whomever becomes the R candidate in the general?

The first shots were fired in October, when Joe O'Dea went on CNN and trashed Trump and his endorsed candidates. Several days later, DeSantis endorsed O'Dea.

Should DeSantis have endorsed the Democrat, as Trump himself did in Georgia?

DeSantis should not have endorsed O'Dea as DeSantis himself didn't endorse Hershal Walker in the general election in GA. (DeSantis did finally endorse Walker in the runoff, which was way too late.)

Trump didn't endorse Stacy Abrahms. It was a half hearted remark because Kemp refused to stop the steal in 2020. Trump should have not made that half hearted remark.

I don’t know where trash-talking works, but it sure isn’t GA. Has Desantis dissed Trump about his 3 marriages or any other personal thing? If not, Trump is sabotaging himself

I don't really understand Georgia state politics, but I feel pretty confident Trump doesn't either. One big difference between us is that I can't be blamed for sabotaging three different US senate races in that state... within two years.

I do feel like Trump has enough pull in states like GA that he could sabotage a republican candidate in the general election in 2024 if he wasn't the nominee and wanted to run a spite campaign. I can't do that, so it's Trunp that should be paid attention to.

I see these as Things That The Donald tried to accomplish EVEN while he had an obstructionist R Senate/House. Again why vote for any gopE/RINO?

I never said Trump didn't try to accomplish these. You asked me to define 5 conservative principles and I did. I guess your point is that the GOPe/RINO wing of the party will not accomplish these and on that point I will agree. My question to you is can you provide 5 GOPe/RINO ideas other than the their obvious open border policy.

Hey, Ronlim, your attempt at punching up is hilarious. If anyone 'poisons the well' for Ronlim in 2028 -- exactly the way that Yeb! and Tedlim ruined their presidential chances by their douchebaggery against President Trump in 2016 -- there will be no one to blame but Meatball Ron. And maybe you, Ronlim. But lurking is as good as posting, right? LOFL

What a silly thing to say. And nonsensical to boot.

What the hell is a Ronlim or a Tedlim? And I am not lurking. I have been on this site for 25 years. Please read my tagline.

“Doing what you were sent to DC

So Trump has abandoned what he said back in 2000 regarding Social Security and now wants to kick the can down the road and let it become insolvent? If so, that’s surely the sign of a politician that doesn’t really support the little guy. Or maybe since he’s using Dimocrat talking points now he’s just going to go full Dimocrat and print money and pay SS and Medicare with worthless dollars? How benevolent.

DeSantis wanted to end federal income taxes on Social Security income. Maybe Lockdown Don will run that in an ad? Doubtful, since it’s not a Dim talking point.

I know ever-Trumpers really don’t want to know what DeSantis actually supported when he was in Congress because you would find that his proposals would have more market driven and allowed a portion of people’s social security taxes to go into to private retirement accounts that they would own. God forbid people become less dependent on government.

Duuuuuuuhhhhh yes... But Trump is ‘Punching Down’ Trump is so far ahead it is not necessary for him to bother acknowledging any others. It only elevates DeSantis’ stature.

I will bless the LORD at all times. His praise shall be continually in my mouth. From Leviticus 27:

17 “‘Do not hate a fellow Israelite in your heart. Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in their guilt.
18 “‘Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.

Like when he accurately told the CNN interviewer she was a "rude, terrible person"? If you're not used to the Trump candor and way with words, you're not paying attention.

I have no problem with Trump calling Kaitlan Collins a "rude, terrible person". I agree with him! What I don't like are these constant attacks on decent conservative Republicans like Ron DeSantis (who has an outstanding record in Florida, btw).

DeSantis probably won't win in 2024 (if he indeed runs), but we're going to need him down the road. Why destroy him day after day, week after week...?

It’s necessary to criticize him because his positions have no chance of winning the presidency for us.

What some people see as Trump’s bad temper or vindictiveness is nothing of the kind. It’s a strong, deliberate response to someone who is not right for the contest or the job.

We'll just have to agree to disagree, FRiend. I still see it as childish.

Overall it doesn't matter what I think. What will (unfortunately) matter are the opinions of millions of independent/undecided voters in 2024.
