Trump bashes DeSantis, claims he needs a ‘personality transplant’

Former President Trump bashed Gov. Ron DeSantis in a new ad Friday, claiming the Florida Republican needs a “personality transplant.”

“The problem with Rondesanctimonious is that he needs a personality transplant, and those are not yet available. Almost all congressmen and women that served with him and knew him well supported me, some of them surprisingly so because of their relationship with Ron,” he said in the 40-second ad, using his preferred nickname for DeSantis.

“No money for Republicans because of the unrelenting incitement to war.”

There is no incitement to war.
There is a war.
Russia invaded and started that war.
The US is not participating but merely sending arms to Ukraine to defend itsel.

Poor Ron has to be thinking “if I only waited until 2028”.

Ronny’s” PAC yesterday trashed Trump with CNN lies

Look it was Trump who fired the first shot. If he destroys the opposition, who will we have in 2028 and beyond. If Trump wins, and he should, then what next? Contrary to what some allege around these parts, the GOP does have some legit conservatives, they are not 100% RINO/Deep State.

Again, Trump will only be around 4 years. He shouldn’t be trashing the younger generation of conservatives

One of your sidekicks left the building yesterday because he sounded like a CNN stooge. Hopefully, you’re next.

I know you would love to silence dissent, just like Biden and the woke mob you have become a part of.

I proudly stand up for the most conservative candidate. If that gets me kicked out from FR, then it is not a conservative site.

You are correct. And don’t forget the primary target of Trump’s silly insults back in 2016.... Ted Cruz.

The only problem now in 2023 is... DeSantis is twice the better candidate that Cruz was.

So will the “DeSanctimonius” insults work this time? We shall see.

Trump needs to tell voters what he will do to make life better,not spending energy attacking someone who is doing so.
Carter told us to accept a smaller piece of pie,Reagan said we’ll bake more pies!Negativity doesn’t energize us.

Why? Why does Trump insist on this junior high rhetoric?

It is a fundamental spiritual flaw; he does not submit himself to God so he treats other people poorly.

I'm part of the woke mob? Is that the best you can do? How sad for you.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Getting kicked off FR is all about one thing: If you dare oppose the Jim Rob approved candidate - you likely will get the zot.
Hundreds got zotted (myself included) for supporting Ted Cruz back in 2016.
Will Jim soon recapture that same approach as we head into 2024? Support DeSantis and get the zot?
We shall see.
It’s embarrassing. He’s only impressing his base with these silly attacks. It doesn’t persuade anybody to move their support to him.
Exactly. Trump did such a great job at the CNN Town Hall. Why doesn't he stick to that kind of 'winning' instead of these constant pathetic attacks on Ron DeSantis?? DeSantis is living rent-free in Trump's head for some reason.
Helping Ukraine to defeat tyrant Putin is not that big of a deal. Putin invaded and is responsible. Only LiberalTarians pretend not to get this.
Presidential contests take many otherwise competent men and make them look pathetic and weak. Trump milks that for all it’s worth. He’s not above low blows and the net is he is thought undignified but not considered weak.
‘ Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.’
—————————
Using that logic, why have a primary? They can all state they have the same policies and hope voters can choose the nicest one.
Had Trump not been ‘nasty’ 2016, the other 16 triggered candidates wouldn’t have shown their ‘nasty’ side which exposed their true colors. They took off their political masks in anger. More importantly the reaction of media, deep state, big corp, RINO’s, Dems and libtards also exposed themselves. Their reaction to Trump was the biggest red pill ever seen. And we are wiser for it.
Too many forget that we couldn’t even say merry Christmas before Trump. He saved America in so many ways by being Trump (brash, steady and defiant). Those that poo poo this don’t realize how powerful and helpful it is. They’re more concerned about ‘feelings’ and ‘statesmanship’. Feelings and statesmanship got us Bush, McCain, Romney and most of Congress. Remember when McCain asked a citizen at a televised townhall not to criticize Obama?
If republican voters don’t start focusing on what really matters we will return to Bush/McCain/Romney 2028. DeSantis is in that arena. His approach to this election cycle proves he cares more about his ambitions than the movement. Why would any candidate run against Trump with 55% support in the primary race? How can DeSantis win the general if he can’t win the primary? That makes him an opportunist.
Look it was Trump who fired the first shot.
The first shots were fired in October, when Joe O'Dae went on CNN and trashed Trump and his endorsed candidates. Several days later, DeSantis endorsed O'Dea.
That's when Trump started criticizing DeSantis.
