Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday told his country’s traditional Victory Day parade on Moscow’s Red Square that the West’s “untamed ambitions, arrogance and impunity” are driving “a real war” against Russia, while the Kremlin’s forces fired another cruise missile barrage at Ukraine.
“Today civilization is once again at a decisive turning point,” Putin said at the annual commemorations celebrating the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II. “A real war has been unleashed against our Motherland.”
Putin’s remarks came just hours after the Kremlin’s forces fired its latest barrage of cruise missiles at Ukraine, which Russia invaded more than 14 months ago in what it officially refers to as a “special military operation.”

More of Putin’s saber rattling. His talk of using nuclear weapons to defend Russia from NATO is almost as laughable as his dire warnings of attacking Ukraine to stop it from becoming part of NATO in January of ‘22.

Vlad is correct, this war is all about NATO expansion and the Russian Derangement Syndrome that was invented by the Dems back in Trumps time.
Even if you don’t see it, much of the world can see it AND most importantly the Russian population knows this. The collective West led by senile Joe is failing, miserably.

Why is “real war” in quotes?
Our leaders have openly stated their intentions to use our power against Russia, and attempted to drag other nations into our goals, to violently remove their leader, destroy their economy, demean and destroy their culture, and dissemble their nation into western-controlled mini republics ….using proxy troops funded by us using intelligence logistics support and weapons provided by us, to gloat about how many Russians we claim our proxy kills.
That is a real war, not an alleged war in quotes.

Imagine what a real war would look like against the Russians. Imagine if they faced Tomahawks, F35s, Abraham’s, and first line munitions.
If Putin thinks he is facing NATO, it shows how delusional he is.
If we were waging a real war against him, Putin wouldn’t be sitting outside in Red Commie Square, he’d be hiding in one of his bunkers.

WRONG AGAIN, BRANDON!
It started when....
-NATO broke its word (as promised in the early 90s) not to expand eastward and then promptly doubled in size to the east over the next 30 years.
-Then, the West broke their promise to honor the Minsk Accords to stop the Uke's slaughter of people of eastern Ukraine, which they signed but never honored
-Then, the covert invasion of Ukraine by the US in the Maidan Revolution to "regime change" the country. I assume you may be smart enough to understand that an invasion is an invasion if you send in your spooks and your state department heads to stir up a color revolution to meddle in a sovereign country.
So, Putin sees the handwriting on the wall. You know, like we did way back in the 60s when Russia got too cozy with Cuba, right on our doorstep, and we invaded and blockaded a sovereign country which was perfectly okay.
