Bingo! Was Ron talking about the deep state before Trump came on the scene? Of course not. He was part of the club and was happy to perpetuate the Dems vs. Reps controlled opposition illusion.
The Republican party before Trump was controlled opposition, pretending the Democrats were the sole reason nothing got done. And Ron never did a thing to expose it. Does anyone remember Ron even criticizing John Boehner or Paul Ryan, let alone having the guts to publicly nominate someone else for Speaker or vote against them? Yeah, me neither.
Remember all the “We’re only one half of one branch of government. There’s only so much we can do.” talk prior to Trump? And the vast majority of Republican voters bought into it completely. We would hear passionate and eloquent speeches about Constitutionalism and the rule of law from people like Ted Cruz, Trey Gowdy, and a host of others who knew all along that it was all for show and would change nothing.
Ron is an opportunist riding the MAGA movement for personal gain. Trump is a true visionary and leader who profoundly changed the political landscape for the better.
McCain abandoned us on Obamacare because he and Ryan were puffed with hate.

I'll agree with this point about the debates.
The front-runner has absolutely nothing to gain by debates and much to lose and right now, Trump is the clear front-runner --which is unfortunate as he's going to get soundly clobbered in 2024.
Still, if one is solidly in the lead, there's no reason to entertain debates. It would be different if Trump and DeSantis were neck-in-neck, and later, they might be, but right now they're not.
Biden has also said no to debates for the same reason. He's the clear front runner for the Democrats and he'd get slaughtered in primary debates.
Stone is a loyal friend of Trump.
In actual fact DeSantis is leading an assault on Pfizer (grand jury) and Disney, and Trump is defending them. I prefer reality to empty rhetoric.
