The administrative state seems to be in charge of funding. Just saying.
Sorry to say, Congress is more than slow when it comes to defunding programs! If Congress ever chose to be fiscally responsible, it would permanently eliminate 2/3 of the federal departments and agencies - and return the money saved to the taxpayer. Same could be said about the billions we don't have being given to foreign nations.
But why would they? Congress is only interested in spending more, not less, and the IRS enables them to do that.
Didn’t they already do that?
