Sorry to say, Congress is more than slow when it comes to defunding programs! If Congress ever chose to be fiscally responsible, it would permanently eliminate 2/3 of the federal departments and agencies - and return the money saved to the taxpayer. Same could be said about the billions we don't have being given to foreign nations.
I wonder if the new IRS agents will avoid Congress reps and their staff.
