Elias can break any law he chooses without worry of prosecution. No obvious reason why the DNC would dump him.
The only thing that makes sense to me is a scenario where the DNC is expecting some legal setbacks and now thinks Elias is a major liability.

He is most likely getting ready to do something big (and illegal) for the 2024 election, and the Dems need plausible deniability. He is every bit as vicious and malicious as David Brock, Sid Blumenthal, Lanny Davis, the Podesta brothers, Shrillary, Weisman, Dan Goldman, Adam Schiff, etc., etc., etc.
Just remember, it was Elias that initiated lawsuits around the country ahead of the 2020 elections, and that resulted in consent decrees that legitimized election fraud and cheating.
