He judge shopped and, sadly, is an intimidating person when it comes to those lawsuits. Whether he was truly that good or the judges were scared/bribed, remains to be seen, but he sure did always seem to get his way.
I was told, years ago by someone I trust, that when the riots were taking place in Atlanta, the GBI identified one person that was shelling out all the bail money. I don’t know if they ever approached that person or did any kind of investigation as to where the money was coming from. But the riots went on and this person kept bailing folks out. If we have folks that aren’t willing to fight and stand up to the mobs, none of it matters anyway.
