CHICAGO — A Chicago man has been sentenced to four years for illegal gun possession and another four years for trying to flush a second gun that cops didn’t know about down the toilet of his Chicago Police Department holding cell.
Tavarus Walker, 25, pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon in a vehicle with a previous conviction in exchange for the sentences from Judge William Hooks, according to court records.
But it could have been a lot worse. Prosecutors dropped the two most serious charges Walker faced: Class X possession of a firearm inside a penal institution and possession of a firearm by a felon.

....”...Tavarus Walker......” obviously a budding rocket scientist or maybe brain surgeon....this guy’s IQ is probably on par with that of an earthworm.....
Once he flushed the gun, I’m surprised the cops had anything to go on.
If he things a gun will flush I feel for his poor toilet at home ... the horrors he must have inflicted on it!

Not in a jail cell. Can’t have any tank in there for the prisoners to hide stuff in.

Which includes being on call for all the prisoners coming from county jail who swallow objects to get a few days of "vacation," or who are found to have stuck bizarre things up their rectum, both dangerous and inert.
Says he regularly gets a couple cases each week from the county jail

I get that but the report said he had it in his waistband not his butt. Someone didn’t do their job very well.
