A former Seattle firefighter issued a stark public safety warning over the department's massive staffing shortage as it allegedly refuses to rehire those fired over the COVID vaccine mandate.
Andy Pittman worked for the city of Seattle for more than six years before he was fired for refusing to take the vaccine. He joined "Fox & Friends First" to discuss how the shortage is impacting public safety in the Emerald City.
"The city administration and Chief Scoggins are definitely gambling with the city's lives," Pittman told Ashley Strohmier on Tuesday. "It's been shown before that one to two units out of service can have a pretty significant impact in the growth of the fire."

The same thing happened in Tacoma which almost always follows Seattle’s lead. They lost a bunch of senior officers including battalion chiefs. The union provided almost no help. I am not sure if it is still going on, but people were either run off or they complied... It sounds like Seattle let it drag out longer.
Vax mandates were designed to punish Trump supporters.
In Tacoma there were people who were forced to retire who had 30 years of service.
Let Seattle burn to the ground unless they FIRE those Nazis, take their Pensions, Benefits and Preclude their public employment permanently.

Months ago, the surgeon who had operated on my cataracts came into the room to check up on her work and she was wearing a mask. I wasn’t wearing a mask, so she said, (approximatly) “Do you mind if I take this off?” I said, “Please do. I hate that I can’t see someone’s face when we’re trying to communicate.” Removing the mask she said, “It’s ridiculous. If I don’t wear the mask, I’m accused of being a Republican. The whole mask thing appears to be about signaling you’re a Democrat.” Accused was the word she used.
The guys who refused the vaccine signaled that they were Republicans. Therefore, they won’t be rehired because they are from the wrong tribe.
Back in the doctor’s office, there was an elderly guy in the waiting room not wearing a mask. An office employee rudely, loudly told him to put on a mask or leave. He took out a letter and said it was from his allergist saying he was exempt as the mask triggered an allergy attack, and he was here for his post-surgery checkup. The employee told him to put on a mask or get out. He said he was here for a scheduled post-surgery checkup. She said put on the mask or leave. He left.
Good on your doctor!
Tell her about what happened to the elderly guy in the waiting room.
Looks like that old guy had worn the mask for the initial visit, had the allergy attack afterwards, and thus gotten the letter.
What would someone in that situation do for surgery followup?
Is the Dr that saw you the senior Dr there?
If so, she needs to talk to the office employee that told the old guy off, and tell the employee that that old guy is allowed to not wear a mask.
The left just likes to have the power.
It seems this statement is only half right, no pun intended.
The same thing’s happening now in transit agencies as well. They imposed the mandates, lost a lot of employees (and much of their institutional knowledge), and now they wonder that they can’t get people no matter how much money they offer. And their crumbling service reflects it.
Who in their right mind would work for an entity that just demonstrated that your personal concerns and years of service mean nothing to them?
Here’s the weird thing and this has happened at two of my doctor’s offices. (BTW, I think my female eye doctor is a competent surgeon.) At the vascular surgeon company and the eye doctor’s office all the doctors have their photos on the wall. In both cases the doctor on the left is an elderly white male. But all the other photos are of thirty-ish, very pretty white women. In the case of the vascular surgeon, I do question the competence of the woman who operated on me. In that case, she had the CT scan for an entire week. I was prepped for surgery to remove a filter in my chest. I was hooked up for heart monitoring. Several people were behind me doing whatever they were doing. A nurse was inserting a needle for anesthesia drip. The anesthetist had just entered the operating room. The female doctor came in and said, “Everybody stop! I looked at your CT and I can’t operate as you have active DVT’s I can’t reach.” Nothing makes you doubt whether someone was hired for her looks and sex like being on the operating table before they even glance at the CT scan to see if they can operate.
As to the eye doctor. No. She’s not the senor doctor. And I already understand the bad environment she’s putting up with.

The goal of the mandate is to eliminate conservatives from state government/police/fire. When the liberal conquest occurs, there will be no one on the inside to stop it.
But this was trumps vaccine. Trust me, I know leftists who don’t take it for that reason. I took a 60 percent paycut to avoid it myself.

Trump was misled about the efficacy of the vax. He was misled about everything.
My wife was at the hospital with a neighbor yesterday.
They are waiting (with masks on as the signs say) and some gal in the waiting room (6 people) stood up and said something like “Hey - I just wanted to let you know that I’m not wearing a mask because the Governor said unless you work at the hospital you don’t have to wear a mask anymore!”
I didn’t ask my wife if she took her mask off (she rarely wore a mask, mostly just to the hospital).
