My grandfather had a sawmill. Use to sweep around the saw every evening.
LOL, I don’t believe in coincidences but all these coincidences seem to be happening, I don’t have any information they are connected to each other, however, we are allowing millions of people across the Southern Border, some of which were proven to come from China.
Just something to keep you eye to see what happens.
There’s another option too, one I’ve seen used more than once. Investor/owner arson. It has been called in my neck of the woods, “The Kingston Way!”
Especially now when the very first thought of many, is what you posted and I thought too, it would be a perfect time for some desperate, criminally intent failing business owner to try something like burning your biz down for the insurance.
I hope that’s not the case here, there’s never reason to kill your employees because of being terrible businessmen/women. Most would take their life first…
You just caused me to think…Jeremy’s Chocolate…hummm.
Jewish Lightening is what we called it. Or two insurance policies getting too close and rubbing against each other.
West Reading is a nice little town. Reading, on the other hand, is much more ghetto.

FReepmail me to be added to the list.
My Priest's BIL's niece, age 49, new grandmother, was among those killed.
She had just clocked out and was leaving the building...
Excellent local coverage here:
Since it's Antifa or Commies we know FBI goons and DOJ thugs won't want to look into it.
Same with 'the press'. No legs.
Only way to get 'elites' interested is to start a rumor it might be a MAGA operation.
Amen.
Smart man. Bless him.
Iranian drone...
Respond with about 100 cruise missiles immediately, just in case...
Sounds good to me.
Arm & fire!
Grew up about an hour away. In my neighborhood alone, two gas explosions about 15 years apart leveled homes and killed people, one in the the 1970’s and another in the 1980’s.
UPDATE - Survivor pulled from the rubble:

I believe it is now five dead and six missing (maybe one of those six found alive?) from the most recent reporting. However, there has been some confusion as to the actual numbers.
It seems every day now there is a new disaster somewhere in our nation.
I realize that much of the news cycle is driven by more instant information, immediate video, and social media, but I thought we had MORE manufacturing safety protocols in place than ever before in history. Why does it seem the number of industrial and manufacturing accidents are increasing?
Last I read, two people were killed, and five were still missing. I hope the missing people are found alive.
So far, the cause is suspected to be a gas leak. See post #55 above - gas explosions were happening decades ago in this region. Probably any area with old buildings (thus, old pipelines) is more prone to gas explosions.
I don’t know whether industrial accidents are increasing or decreasing. I always assumed they were decreasing. For many years in SE PA, many people worked in factories, and all sorts of tragedies happened. Just a few years ago, I worked in a family-owned factory. The foremen were knowledgeable about the machines; the rest of us did the grunt work. I’d imagine that Palmer’s (a family-owned operation) runs their business the same way. Even with safety protocols in place, mishaps will happen. But, if this was a gas explosion, it probably started with a gas leak from an underground pipe. Really sad story...
I lived and worked in Reading gor several years. It has really changed since 1981 when I moved from there.
Funny story about West Reading.
The decided to beautify the main street by planting Ginko Biloba trees on both sides of the main street. They looked beautiful, but had one major unintended consequence.
They planted almost all female trees that bear fruit. The fruit, when it fell to the street and rotted, smelled like vomit.
Every year for a few weeks, the main street of West Reading smelled like vomit!
Many people visited West Reading for the Vanity Fair Outlet Stores..
Man says sister still missing after explosion, workers complained of gas smell.
Gonzalez said his son and nephew had also worked at the plant, but that his son had quit a few months ago “because he said he didn’t like the smell of the gas that was in there.” His son and nephew had complained about the smell to plant supervisors, who told them, “’It’s all right. We got it. It’s being handled. Don’t worry about it,’” he said.
