Anthony Cole, a former Department of Justice (DOJ) official, said on Sunday that former President Trump’s remarks about his possible looming arrest in New York was an attempt to “intimidate local prosecutors” and would “poison” the jury pool.
“What I think is happening here is [Trump] trying to, number one, intimidate local prosecutors and number two, I think it also has the effect of poisoning a jury pool,” Cole, who used to head the DOJ’s Department of Public Affairs, said in an interview with Jonathan Capehart on MSNBC.

It’s only fair for the prosecutor to poison the jury pool. Being NYC….that must be some filthy pool.
Derek Chauvin asked for a change of venue. Lot of good it did him.
Anthony seems to worry about an impossibility—that there could ever be any one in NYC that could ever hear something from Trump, and have it influence them.
No it won’t!!!!
And his Justice Department and FBI did everything they could to “poison” the Trump presidency through advancing the Russia collusion lies. letting lies stand in sworn affidavits before the courts to get FISA warrants, letting the press lie voraciously about “prosecutions” without correction and refusing to do a damned thing about the crook Hunter Biden’s laptop since they took possession of it three years and four months ago. The “poison” has 99 percent come from the senile corrupt man in the White House and his servile manservant, Merrick Garland at DoJ.
American justice, the same GD corrupt individuals who conspired to criminally undermine, compromise and overthrow Trump, like to tell everyone how bad Trump is.
This is truly an ugly spectacle.
A jury pool from new york city is pretty much polluted enough to be an EPA supersite already.

Let’s always remember...Juries are not random...they are “selected”. Now the first thing they would do would be to look at Party Registration...then go from there. Justice....lol

What did he say about Manhattan? I recall that he disparaged “New York”, and that was a bomb, considering many of us are from NY. (Most of NY outside NYC and Albany is conservative.
