The local unemployment rate has hit its highest level in nearly a year.
The State Labor Department says the preliminary jobless rate for the Rochester metro stood at an even 4 percent in January.
That's more than a full percentage point higher than the previous month.

yep no one wants to work especially not the under 35 set. It’s even worse trying to find decent tenants!
