Sounds like KY is looking pretty good. On the other hand, we in nevaDUH are lucky enough to be saddled with being 50% farcical, uh, I meant renewable by 2035 and 100% by 2050. Passed into the NevaDUH Revised Statute mandates it. If they don't make it, is it a felony or something? Lucky for us, our equal payment plan with NVEnergy has gone from $131/mth to $148/mth to $152/mth and now to $221/mth in a one year period, "After reviewing your account...". We haven't changed anything. If it's because your costs have gone up, simply say it. Don't blame us for NVenergy failure to supply what we pay for.

Coal is of course much easier to store than NG but way cleaner. Meanwhile the Climate Nazi’s want to ban both.

We absolutely must get Daniel Cameron into the governor’s office. Another Andy Beshear term will be disastrous.

I really like the man AND I believe is is out best hope to beat corrupt little prick.

How about if we don’t get rid of coal and nat gas electricity generation until the leftists PROVE that wind and solar actually work reliably?

If we don’t create another amendment to the Constitution there will be no ability for future generations to acquire or use Oil and Gas.

Marxist faux green communists will disallow it and sooner than later.

Green Marxists are the Watermelon Communists.

Green on the outside and RED on n the inside.

Want to hope that WV and Ohio will do the same. Most of the power my co-op distributes is cosl fired, and we’ve been spared the big rate hikes that some others are suffering.

Closing power plants is a democrat wet dream. I saw what happened to the plants closed at Page AZ, Kirtland NM and Waterflow NM and the economic impact on the towns.

There are still several huge coal fields in Southern Utah but the US government turned the area into a National Monument to keep them from using the coal.

Interesting.....

Anecdotally, I resently observed a coal fired plant just south of Ashland KY back on line. It had been closed but is now back in service.

It is located a few miles from an operational coal mine

The best thing that states can do is tell the Feds to go pound sand.

Things like this are what happens when liberals are able to meddle in elections.

They create environments where democrats can win, at the state level, with tricks and Republicans let them do it because they don’t want to be WAY-CIST

"Kelly Craft, former U.S. Ambassador to Canada and a 2023 Kentucky gubernatorial candidate, discussed this in a major state publication, writing, “As coal power shut down, it has been replaced by natural gas and, while I support an “all of the above” energy policy, natural gas has limitations. Natural gas price volatility drove Kentuckians’ cost of electricity to all-time highs last year.”

LOL at TownRINO pimping this marginal woman destined to become Cameron's Lt. Goobernor.
