A homeless man in St. Louis, Missouri was shot in cold blood on Monday morning after an altercation between him and his assailant, the man has been identified as 23-year-old Deshawn Thomas and was arrested on Tuesday morning.
Horrifying videos taken by onlookers who did not attempt to intervene show the homeless man being shot ‘execution style’ as his murderer takes roughly 30 seconds to load his firearm before killing the man.
Social media users were quick to criticize people who filmed the incident for not even verbally attempting to intervene as the assailant took a long time to load his gun, leaving a large window of time for people to step in.
St. Louis, Missouri has consistently been named one of the most dangerous cities in America due to its high homicide and violent crime rate.
The latest incident is just one of 360 homicides that occured last year in the city.

The Daily Caller Reports–
Graphic video footage shows the moment a homeless Missouri man was fatally shot by a suspect whom he had fought with minutes earlier, according to a report.
The incident unfolded Monday just after 10:00 a.m., in the 700 block of North Tucker Boulevard in St. Louis, when authorities responded to a shooting and found the unidentified victim dead at the scene, Maj. Ryan Cousins said, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Video footage taken by a witness shows the victim sitting on the curb with the suspect standing behind him, seemingly struggling to load his firearm. After nearly 30 seconds, the suspect points the gun at point blank range at the victims’ head, killing him.
Authorities say witnesses saw the victim and suspect arguing near a Shell gas station before the victim ran away. The suspect, however, chased the victim down and shot him, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
No, it wasn't a black-powder rifle. It appears to be a semi-automatic handgun and he can't rack the slide.
Looken sharp America. Might as well give what's left of the American treasure to foreign aid, Ukraine et al.
I hate the comment people “did not attempt to intervene.”
I guess I am supposed to feel bad if I don’t immediately assess a situation and disarm a murderer.
I doubt I could disarm my own murderer let alone someone else’s. What are people supposed to do? Talk him down? “HEY THERE WHAT’S GOING ON HERE” I might call 911 but I’d even be unsure about that, not knowing what exactly is going on in the moment. Stop blaming passersby.
For all I know the shooter is defending himself or something. I rarely can tell what is going on when I pass by a confrontation.
Yes, if a little kid or a small woman is being assaulted, I’d know. This is two grown men, probably street people. Like I am going to insert myself. I could very likely make a situation worse.
That poor homeless man never knew what hit him. May he Rest in Peace.................
The camera is a reliable eyewitness, and you’re right the police probably don’t want you to get shot intervening either unless you were adequately armed. Of course in some cities that means a pencil.

If an onlooker had a weapon, and if they were quick enough to get it out and shoot the man the results are predictable. They would be arrested and charged with a crime and the family of the man shot would sue them.
That is where “justice” is today. Any action to stop a crime puts you in legal jeopardy.
no one ever knows how they are going to react till shit actually goes down.... one has to ask unless armed yourself what could you have done to stop this...
I’m assuming the person recording this murder on his phone had already called 911 and reported the shooting, right? Sorry if I missed that part.
Black lives matter......except to other black lives.
“Social media users were quick to criticize people who filmed the incident for not even verbally attempting to intervene as the assailant took a long time to load his gun, leaving a large window of time for people to step in.”
Talk is cheap. Every critic would have shyt his/her/its pants and headed for the hills.
About intervening. For a family member or friend, I would do all that I could to stop the murder.
But for anyone else, sorry. The perp might turn his gun on me. If I succeed and he hasn’t pulled the trigger, then I would be the one arrested. Then there’s the white/black angle. A Whitey is automatically guilty when there’s a black involved. And if not found guilty, his reputation and house are trashed.
So no thanks. Not in the current USA as things are now.
Yeah particularly as a woman I am like so I am supposed to intervene between two grown men.
Assess the threat level
Figure out whether they have accomplices around
What nonsense. The “passersby” were almost certainly not young armed men with instantaneous judgement unafraidmif retaliation but they have to make the snotty comment OH NO NO ONE INTERVENED we should all feel
So guilty
Honestly probably a lot of young healthy men have families to provide for I am not sure they are always morally obligated to have the intuition and ability to stop a shooting.
Not my circus.
Not my monkeys. Time to call in the TIGER MAFIA!...and elite East Saint Louis Rapid Reaction Squad.
Wonder how this dindu nuffin’ would do in a real fair gun fight, instead of an unarmed, harmless, homeless man?
Let’s hypothetically say 40’ apart, at high noon, downtown Main Street St. Louis on a Saturday so everyone can come and watch? Just like in the old western days.
He can bring whatever to F he wants as long as it’s holstered. And we’ll limit his cowboy opponent to just an 1873 Colt Frontier in .44-40 caliber.
At the strike of 12, it’s on like donkey kong. Bet the chickenchit would run all the way back to Zimbabwe cryin’ for his mama.....cowardly POS.
