While not in any way excusing or condoning McVeigh’s heinous crime, it is truly amazing how quickly the wheels of justice can turn when the perp represents the “wrong side.”

I think the man who killed Mayor Cermak of Chicago, while attempting to shoot President-Elect Franklin Roosevelt, was executed in a shorter time than that after Cermak died.

We had 2 death row inmates here in Washington State back in the 90’s that chose not to fight their sentences and they put them down pretty quickly, relatively speaking. 2 years, 11 months and 3 years, 1 month.
