A group of doctors is suing the Food and Drug Administration and the Department of Health and Human Services for their various attempts at preventing ivermectin from being prescribed to treat Covid-19. Plaintiffs Robert L. Apter, Mary Talley Bowden, and Paul E. Marik argued the FDA tried to prohibit them from prescribing the drug, even though they have successfully used it in treating patients with the coronavirus.
“The FDA generally cannot ban particular uses of human drugs once they are otherwise approved and admitted to the market, even if such use differs from the labeling — commonly referred to as ‘off-label’ use,” the lawsuit argues. “The FDA also cannot advise whether a patient should take an approved drug for a particular purpose.”

FDA says they do not tell doctors how to practice medicine.
Their purview is safety first and foremost.
FDA guidelines can be used to not pay for certain medications.

The first paper I read supporting the use of Ivermectin for treating Covid was in April 2020.
Got a script from a doc friend in early 2021 and started taking in after I found I was exposed at a Christmas party that year.
Some of my friends who were at the party and got Covid got a bit sick for a several days after.
My spring allergies were worse than my Covid case!

Emory University has a very prestigious medical school. The Dean of Emory Medical School has Indian heritage, and co-wrote an article in the Times of India advocating using Ivermectin against Covid, among other things. This has gotten =ZERO= coverage in US media, including his hometown paper, the AJC, and his hometown news network, CNN.
Try to convince me that isn’t newsworthy - both his original article and the non-coverage of it by US media.

I have spent a lot of time reading the studies on both HCQ (with zinc) and IVM.
If you had a loved one die of “Covid” you will never know for sure if they could or could not have survived it had we allowed and encouraged doctors to use off-label treatments.
However, the data is clear that either one improved outcomes by over 50%. When used in combination I would expect it to be even higher.
Fact - these are very safe drugs with minuscule side effects in comparison to other top 10 drugs in the world. These docs have a great lawsuit and I am sure that our judiciary will throw it out immediately. Name one illness in the history of modern medicine where doctors were forbidden to try and treat it. Just one.
This was murder. There is way to sugarcoat it. In hindsight I think most will agree (now or eventually) that the vaccines were bad, but even putting yourself back in time to the point where the entire nation breathed a sigh of relief (after the election of course) with the vaccine, there was still no reason we could not have done an “all of the above approach” to the “pandemic”.
Trump made a mistake when he turned his Presidency over to Fauci and company. He took HCQ. He was SO CLOSE to being viewed as a hero but he folded. I can forgive him because I remember the hysteria, but it would be nice if he acknowledged the obvious and not brag about “Warp Speed” again.

I took the horse paste and had Delta for A DAY and tested positive twice. No loss of taste or smell. They killed people intentionally.
Back in the early days of Covid there was a post here where someone compared the paste Ivermectins at TSC with a nice graphic presentation of good/better/best and I’ve tried in vain to find it but failed. I’d the Durvet one the middle of the road or the bottom?
I was in ER in Aug 21 for a non Covid problem. When discharged doc gave me script for it and said get it filled asap for use it if you need it. He happens to be my neighbor.
The nih.gov site classified Ivermectin as anti viral in 2020.
That same year Ivermectin was noted as a cancer drug in studies and trials for several cancers.
