A mystery object shot down by U.S. fighter jets amid ongoing hysteria sparked by a Chinese spy balloon may have been a $12 inflatable launched by a hobby group in Illinois.
The Northern Illinois Bottlecap Balloon Brigade (NIBBB) reported one of its balloons 'missing in action' around the same location - and at the time time - a U.S. Air Force jet downed an unidentified object near Alaska using a $400,000 Sidewinder missile.

As previously stated, The USA IC are really NOT that intelligent.
Case in point here.
But President Turnip acted Decisively to protect US.
Swell
Let’s just shoot everything out of the sky
This is going to be fun. We see a lot of twisting and turning already - wait until “they” have to admit “they” didn’t know what “they” were looking at or what “they” were doing...”They’ll” all look like pretzels when it’s over!
The article is worth reading. You really can’t make this stuff up.
Our military spends trillions, but can’t figure out what is what. Probably half of what they buy is fake, like everything else.
are they not even doing a flyby before wasting a missile where the gun would do???
But at least Hunter’s laptop and other scandals were taken off the headlines.
Is this the one the first missile missed and second one was fired? $800,000.00
I am not sure I believe this. Sounds too much like government propaganda.
Well thank God they shot it down.
There’s no telling what might have happened.
That toy-like balloon could have kamikazed itself into the intake of Air Force Two and deprived the world of a future Kamalala administration.
Oh the horror...
“Bottlecap Balloon Brigade - a Missouri hobby group...launched by a hobby group The Northern Illinois Bottlecap Balloon Brigade (NIBBB).
Hard to believe this foolishness. The military shooting down a $13.00 hobby balloon with a $400,000.00 missile. This is likely and better not be true.
Who knows with this administation.
I’m in Northern Illinois and I’ve never heard of the group, but that doesn’t mean anything. I read the article, and in the group’s picture, the storefront above and behind says “Jaqueline’s of Highland Park”
Outside of Chicago?
If it is, and I was the F22 pilot, I’d be pissed…
And the one over Lake Huron was a bunch of mylar birthday balloons.
What are the consequences to you?
This entire balloonapalooza is filled with screw ups, deceptions and lies. We found out the the CCP balloon was known about since its launch in China. That’s after we were told they picked it up over the AK on Jan 28. It was tracked as it crossed the country and spied on military bases. It interrupted operations so sensitive information wasn’t obtained. Then shot down off the coast of SC.
But Biden says we are picking up these latest ballon’s since they adjusted our radars. How did they pickup the original CCP balloon without unadjusted radar? Okay, I’m not a simpleton. Radar isn’t the only way we can detect these things. The radar story is a deception.
The waiting until the CCP balloon was off the SC coast to shoot it down because of safety concerns is another lie. There were plenty of opportunities to shoot it down.Do you trust these people to lead America in a war that they are fomenting with Russia? I won’t even talk about the Charlie Foxtrot at the Kabul airport.
$12 balloon + $2 million dollar missle = $10 million in compensation to these balloon hobbyist for the pain and suffering of losing their balloon.
